I wonder if there is a way to estimate how many people were at the tea parties in spirit, if they couldn’t actually attend the one in their city? Maybe 10 times the amount that actually showed up?

Amarillo, TX had 300 to 400 at a TEA party at noon (as shown) and then had another one in the evening which was attended by about the same number of folks according to the local news.

Thanks for a great job!

Brother says Great Barrington, MA had one, he estimates 1100 in attendance, judging by the size of the place it was held. Cannot find ANYTHING in any papers about it, not even the Bershire Eagle. Still hunting.

I think I noted on the other thread Springfield, MA was probably double, 600 at least. That was what the police had said. He said many more came and went, and he counted only the size of the crowd when it was the largest? I don’t know how that works lol.

Here are a handful I stumbled across while working on a blog. There are several Texas cities that had parties scheduled not on your list. I found these after doing minimal work on Google.

NOT LISTED:

ALVIN, Texas - 100 Alvin Tea party

Lewisville, Texas - 250 Lewisville TEA party draws crowd at city hall

Corsicana, TX - 120 Texas tea party

Southlake, TX 500+; Burleson, TX - 500 Texans blow off steam at tea parties to protest taxes

MEDIA UPDATED ATTENDANCE Tyler-1500 East Texas Residents Rally At Tea Party, Decry Government Spending, Taxes

Marion IL - 300 Party like it's 1773: locals join nationwide tax protest

One liberal talking point that was so idiotic is that the rallies were not “focused”. That is the point - it gives the lie to the LSM saying they were orchestrated by Fox News or anyone. This is a true grassroots movement with many dissatisfied citizens with many, many complaints. The overreaching of executive power and choices of corrupt cabinet members and “czars”, the bailouts, the future debt and probable inflation... the list of atrocities against our Republic is quite lengthy.

Clovis, NM had a TEA Party which was reported on our news here in TX. I can’t remember the number but remember that it was a pretty good turn out. I’ll guess it was around 1,000.

There were over 850 posts on the first thread, and almost 100 on this one. I would need a team the size of Obambi’s entourage to research all those leads.

“Just the facts ma’am.”

Per Google, about 40 in Payson. Now, before you freaky lefties reading this start laughing, go to Payson. 40’s a great number.

Never mind. Stay OUT of Payson...

I still can’t find any numbers on Dixon. Someone I know was there and she guessed there was ....... hundreds? Or a thousand? (I’m old, my memories gone and I’m too lazy to call her)

:)
