The San Antonio Express News stated the Alamo Park Police pegged the crowd at 5000. The San Antonio Police Dept using terrain graphing said there was 20,000. Who'd a thought the media would get it wrong.

Over 100k Texans came out to voice their opinion. Who says we can't be a Republic again?

I think “Who is John Galt?” would make a better analogy.

I love it and it’s so easy, not to mention some poor person might be able to use it to make a hot cuppa (in my best liberal caring voice).

Yes, Pearland did have a tea party. Slideshow HERE.Don't know about numbers. Sugarland had about 2-3000, but don't know for sure. It might have been more.

Please add Eau Claire, WI. According to WQOW over 300 attendees were at the Eau Claire, WI Tea Party:

http://www.wqow.com/global/story.asp?s=10190428&ClientType=Printable

I guess that is the low end estimation. Also, please check the totals for Wausau, WI. According to WisInfo, there were over 1000 attendees at the Wausau, WI Tea Party.

http://www.wisinfo.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2009904160676

That's a far cry more than 150-200 currently defined on the list. Thanks for starting this summary list! It's GREAT!

I believe this is the count for the Tax Day, April 15th, Tea Parties.
IIRC, Pittsburgh held their Tea Party last week-end, so they would not be included in this count.

Regarding some of the NC tea parties...

Charlotte’s low should probably be 2,500. The reported number is 2,000 but that was decided upon halfway through the event and there is evidence that the number was higher at that point and certainly by the the time it wrapped up, but the organizer himself put the number at 2,500.

Hickory should only have 1,000 as its high, reports have said it was probably around 500.

Winston-Salem from reports I’ve seen had under 1,000. I think 3,000 was based on an erroneous early report?

Some additional numbers:

Franklin 600-1000
Sylva 30-50
