Free Republic - Numerous News Outlets ^ | 04/17/09 | Henchster

Posted on 04/17/2009 3:15:10 PM PDT by Henchster

CONGRATULATIONS! We are now up to ALL 50 states plus D.C., 485 cities, and can document no less than 602,000 and as many as 680,000 patriots took place in the greatest grass roots act of defiance since 1773!

EVERY state in the Union protested Washington D.C.'s tax and spend scheme.

You can check to see if your tea party is listed HERE if not, post a comment on this thread citing the city, state and headcount.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!

“If hundreds of us did this (or thousands) in every state we could make it a ‘Kilroy Was Here’ legend and drive the commie bastards crazy.”

I think “Who is John Galt?” would make a better analogy.

Beaumont, Texas is WAY low!
On Wednesday, April 15, an estimated 2,000 children and adults of all ages packed an expansive field...
As I said on that thread...Color me impressed.

There were 2200 scheduled parties. This doesn’t account for the parties that weren’t reporting. Therefore:

2200 rallies x 500 per rally = 1,100,000

Don’t be fooled by the Lefties. America has spoken! And loudly!

Stroudsburg, PA 454
Easton, PA 100

I think your list is missing MANY small towns. There will be no way to get a count of everyone.

I know there are a bunch missing. We could volunteer a freeper from each state to dig them out of the news. I’ll do Oregon if you’d like.

Awesome news...and “ABCNNBCBS” thinks it’s “no big deal”.

That is more people that attended THEIR big deal..the (so-called) Million Man March.

And FReepers were on the front lines in nearly all cases!

We made a difference! Now...we HAVE to make a difference in 2010! This is a real good start for REAL change!

Don’t see Pleasanton, Fairfield, Vacaville, CA here either - they would have had over 3,000 combined.

It was estimated that over 800 tea parties were held. I agree with the poster who says all total, probably over 1,000,000 taxPAYERS rallied.

And we did it without being bribed with beer and a rock concert.

I didn't see Sugarland, TX and they definitely had a tea party. There's a link to the pics on the Texas board. Also, I believe Pearland Tx had a tea party, but am not 100% on that.
