THIS IS NOT HEADLINE NEWS or STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT! Don't you see what a SHAM this survey is, which is based on ONLY 500 LIKELY VOTERS!
They didn’t call me... darn.
Oh my, your not questioning this are you? I think I should call DHS.
Btw I do not now nor have I EVER had any firearms....or knives...or pipes......or bad thoughts......
“Oh my, your not questioning this are you? I think I should call DHS.”
Don’t bother calling, I will just shout for DHS outside my back door.
I realize you are being sarcastic, but this may be exactly the reason 375 said "NO."
Given the climate that Obama has put out there in Ameica I wonder how many said no just because they didn't want any trouble from the feds?
What a poll. It looks like most of the respondents were bloggers on the Houston Chronicle website. Check out that POS blogsite sometimes at www.chron.com . Particularly check back for blogs by a guy who thinks he is Eric Clapton. His name on there is eljefebob. He has a Mini Me clone called desperado who thinks he is Clint Eastwood. They are the most vile liberal spewers in Texas. They delete posts all the time.
The poll must have been taken at the Chronicle or in Austin.
So basically 50% of THE USA needs to go underground.
Could they have made the sample size any smaller? maybe call 7 poeople. What a joke.
But another decade of Obama style policies of encroaching big government and massive debt that will have to be met with further confiscatory taxation will leave us with little choice.
It will cease to be the United States at that point.
The 2007 Population estimate in Texas is 23,904,380. Of a 23,904,380 group, a sample of only 500 was taken? On what planet is 0.002% a representative sample?
Next, who did he ask? Welfare recipients? employed? Illegal Citizens? Registered Democrats?
Add me to the list that wants out.
I am an American first, a Texan second. However, I have my breaking point, and it is edging closer to it.
Didn’t we just see this thread a little while ago? LOL...

But — on the issue presented here — when Texas lost the Civil War and was finally forced back into the union, one of the conditions for being allowed back into the union was that secession was no longer valid. And that’s the way it is now. Texas gave up the right of secession after losing the Civil War...
Texas will be the first to succeed. Others will eventually follow their lead. The grasshoppers have already outnumbered the ants, and the grasshoppers are still breading. This country cannot sustain itself. It's gonna blow.
For everyone else — to see the issue — beat to death in another *recent* thread... you can go here... LOL...

From what I read a looooooong time ago, there was a document that was never actually signed (or signed by someone who didn't have the authority?). Back then, it was considered a legal loop hole that would allow Texas to legally escape.
You said — Add me to the list that wants out.

I’ve heard of a few people moving to New Zealand... :-)
