WASHINGTON (AP) - Republicans on Wednesday said a Homeland Security Department intelligence assessment unfairly characterizes military veterans as right-wing extremists. House Republican leader John Boehner described the report as offensive and called on the agency to apologize to veterans.
The assessment also said that returning military veterans who have difficulties assimilating back into their home communities could be susceptible to extremist recruiters or might engage in lone acts of violence.

“Let me be very clear — we monitor the risks of violent extremism taking root here in the United States,” Napolitano said in a statement.
Just not Enviroextremists, leftist anarchists, former Weathermen, and various fascists now in elected office including herself.
His main objective is to destroy America utterly and totally. He is a disease that the American people need to find a cure for, and that right quick!
This is not a personal attack, it is TRUTH plain and simple.

Patriot soldiers risk their lives to serve their nation and this POS Napolitano, who has never served a day on her life is dissing veterans as a class of violent soon to be criminals?
Only Obama soft servers with the new soon to come civilian "peace corps" know how to serve the Obamanation? Buahahahahahah!
Not only is she a pig in a poke, but she is about to be served up as BBQ ribs with Zero sauce.
Obama will have to get rid of her.

Give us MORE Napolitano. Tell us MORE about how our soldiers returning from abroad will become extremists?Just because they are patriots? Obama have to hard a time recruiting photo op soldiers in Iraq?Buahahahahahah!
That's not enough. As a Catholic and a supporter of the inalienable right to life, I want an apology, too.
But more than that, I demand Napolitano's resignation.
Mr. Obama, you must ask your Homeland Security chief to RESIGN, or you also assume the guilt of slandering more than half of the American people--veterans, Christians, people who think there is a value to human life and dignity, on the basis of no evidence presented whatsoever.
The report did no such thing ! Anyone reading it would know that statement was - to put it charitably - a misrepresentation.
The report said radical extremists MIGHT TRY to recruit veterans - and they indeed have. A friend of mine, who was privy to to sensitive military material, was “courted” for almost a year by militia wannabees, who wanted access.
I can see where the wannabees might be upset !
The report also stated “The possible passage of new restrictions on firearms and the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks.”
No recruitment necessary according to this. In my interpretation “potential emergence of terrorist groups” meaning that veterans could start their own groups and “lone wolf extremists” i.e. not being part of any organization.
As a veteran who’s done my time, I consider this an insult as I, my brothers and sisters in arms and our predecesors have been the guardians of this country and will continue to do so.
Not only that, but returning veterans will be still be well networked in the military community for some time afterward. Word gets around.
Is Obama that stupid? Why would you alienate the guys that will be carrying out the martial law wet dreams that Obama wants so badly? He’s gonna pull the lever and realize it’s not connected to anything anymore, and everything will get stuffed right back in his face.
