I'm hoping to be able to ascertain an overall national figure of attendance at the tea parties today by asking Freepers to post their crowd estimates on this thread.
I'm also asking that the thread be kept to just the numbers, no photos, etc., but if you want to link back to photos in your crowd estimate that's fine.
Please give the location and number of participants.
I'll go first:
Melbourne, FL - 1000.
Thanks. We’re up to 374 cities and between 525,000 and 590,000 patriots.
The Tea Party my husband & I attended at Independence Point in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho had 1000 (as reported in the Cd’A Press this morning). As reported on the local tv news last night, the Spokane, WA tea party had 2000.
And I’ll venture to bet that for every person who attended a tea party, there are 10 people who agree with them who couldn’t attend.
I read through about 700 some postings and figured no one had reported yet for Cd’A, and just after I posted & hit refresh, there you were! :) Sorry for my redundancy. Awesome event, huh?
I loved the helicopter that flew over and dropped the huge “tea bag” into the lake.
Here is ProtectOurFreedom’s list. Freepers are also posting attendance numbers here.

Thanks so much for your hard work putting together an organized list. We need to be sure to make sure CNN and MSNBC get a copy!!
I will keep updating it as more cities keep coming in.
We're up to 404 cities and between 560,000 and 628,000 patriots!
salisbury maryland had about 200 standing in the rain and annapolis maryland had about 1000...
woohoo
closing in on half a million
teeman
Absolutely right!! A handful of dedicated leaders put together a huge national event in less than two months that attracted well over a half million people fed up with the theft of our nation and wealth. There's no way he could have imagined this springing up so quickly, is there?
BTW, my attendance spreadsheet is over here. Please send updates if your city is missing or the data are wrong.
Thanks to both of you!!!
I’m so glad you posted Minden! My husband is from Minden. It’s such a cute little town, with their “brick” Main Street!!
I wish I could have seen it but I was in Moscow at our little party of 400. I looked at the list and only saw two reported in ID and heard that you guys had a good showing so I looked up and posted it. I know there were at least seven other parts in ID but I can’t find the numbers for them. Sorry I didn’t wait a few more seconds :(

I don’t know if anyone gave you Richardson, TX yet, but it has been estimated at 600, but I’d guess closer to 800-1000, because of coming and going. And if you added all those who honked as they drove by in favor, there were definitely 1000 ‘voices’ LOL!
