I am a rightwing extremist.
At least thats what the new administration would call me.
In a sweeping nine-page document sent to state and local law-enforcement agencies last week, the federal government sounded the alarm against rightwing extremists, and called on law enforcement to join it in identifying and investigating people who fit a certain profile.
Like veterans.
And gun owners.
And people who believe in the Tenth Amendment.
In something from the Stalin side of Orwell, the new Democrat regime in Washington has identified those who disagree with it as potential threats to the state.
Put another way: The purge has begun.
Here are the specifics. On April 7, the Department of Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis sent out an alert to American law enforcement. It identified rightwing extremists as a danger.
It then defined rightwing extremists.
They were people for whom one issue was very important like opposing abortion, or opposing illegal immigration. It was also people who felt that the federal government was too powerful and that states rights should be respected.
Gun owners also came under fire.
A correlation may exist between the potential passage of gun control legislation, Homeland Security warned, and increased hoarding of ammunition, weapons stockpiling, and paramilitary training activities among rightwing extremists.
So, if you believe that the Democrats in Washington may pass laws limiting the availability of guns or ammunition, and you consequently buy guns or ammunition before they make it illegal to do so, you are a rightwing extremist.
Or my neighbor.
Or me.
Because I find that the Democrats profile of a potential threat to national security sounds amazingly like a Republican. And this bulletin sounds amazingly like the Democrats using the power of law enforcement to attack and suppress their political opponents.
The same party that complained when Homeland Security tapped the phone calls of foreign Muslim terrorists is now using Homeland Security to defame and investigate conservative American Republicans.
I cant decide if that is more reminsicent of the Gestapo or the KGB. All I know is that it isnt American.
Especially since it targets veterans.
Another personality type the brown shirts see as potential rightwing extremists combat veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Thats right. The men and women who volunteered to defend our country in a time of war, the ones who you and I welcome with open arms and parades, the thought police are suspicious of them.
Im not sure what prejudice of the liberal mind it is that makes Democrats mistrust veterans, but its about to elevate the best among us to the watch list.
So Im coming clean.
I want to save the Democrats the trouble of tapping my phone.
I am a veteran who is opposed to abortion and illegal immigration. I drive a four-wheel-drive American-made pick-up truck and it has an NRA sticker in the window. Theres also an American flag and a magnetic Army ribbon and a sticker from a private Christian college.
Im as rightwing extremist as it gets.
And so are most of the people I know.
And its too bad the government has decided that were the enemy. Its too bad the new president and his comrades in the Congress are trying to use the police as their political enforcers.
Speaking of the police, Im surprised they werent included in the profile.
Gov. Perry yesterday spoke on the subject of the Tea Parties, the 10 th Amendment, control of the Texas National Guard, and the Tax issues. I think either he or someone on his staff gets it.
The last time I looked, this is still Texas where I live.
The last attempt at subjecting Texas did not work out that well, and was very short lived.
There is no way my military friends here will support a Zimbabwe type takeover.
Please view and pass it on.....scarey and sad. UNC parents should be Alarmed!!! Someone please send to FOX....and Homeland Security is worried about Right Wingers....
Watch for people sent to prison today....they will silence conservatives.

These people need to get out more. How could any of them NOT KNOW about this???
Thank you.
Sad, isn’t it, that my first thought after reading your post was that I could check the book out at the library this afternoon....my immediate next thoughts were of that Mel Gibson movie and the government tracking those who check out “racist and anti-semitic” materials. That, coupled with my bazillions of posts here and activities on illegal immigration, and purchase of a first new gun, etc....well pffft!...and who would have thought just 6 months ago such concern would have NEVER entered my mind!!
Not against Obama, it ain’t.
Let them come. It’ll be a damned long day, and some of them will not be going home.
bump
As long as it's legal, sure.
Stop spending so much. Cut back on your consumer tax payments.
Stop working weekends and over time. Cut back on your income tax payments. You really don't need that huge house. A smaller house is easier to take care of anyway. Cut back on your property tax payments.
Like to eat out at restaurants? Have a family or neighborhood cook out or movie night at home instead. You'll actually like it.
What about all the clothes in the closet? Do you really need those new pants?
Grow a garden. If you don't have the land, use containers. They'll work just fine.
Barter. If you have a service or a craft, trade it!
The key to having everything you need is not more money and more taxes. It's networking with like minded people. You'll be surprised how well your life can be when you meet as many people as possible. Through this network, you can get deals you could only dream about before - and you'll all benefit from them. Even better, the politicians are left out of all of it. Let them get their own jobs!
Funny, I don’t recall Tom Brokaw mentioning the Greatest Generation was a hotbed for ‘domestic terrorists’ in 1946.....
I wish I had one of those in my state. All I have is some wimpy liberal a-holes.
What’s funny about the “Nazi” appellation is that both sides look at the other as “Nazis”.
We see their totalitarian collectivist/fascist tendencies, and rightly call them fascists, if not “Nazi”.
The reason the left calls conservatives “Nazis” is our reverence for tradition, culture, and country - the “national part” of th National SOCIALISM. They just seem to leave out that second word...
You know what would be an effective protest?
Have a whole swarm of persons who seem to fit the DHS profile just show up one day at the FBI and DHS offices and volunteer to submit themselves to questioning and investigation as being “suspicious” according to the new “guidelines”. I mean tens of thousands of us show up at these places just to say...”I am pro gun and right to life. I worry about the economy and I voted against OBMAMA. Therefore you must,if you truly believe that I am dangerous,as defined by DHS guidelines, then you must investigate me!” Protest them in their own offices. Jam up the works and get in their faces, peacefully.
Another words confront their idiocy by actually forcing them in large numbers to “put up or shut up”. Be kind and civil, but force them to deal with the consequences of their so-called guidelines. Show up in small groups to police stations and federal courts saying...”we fit the DHS guidelines, arrest us we are evil and mean according the DHS!”
According to that document we are ALL Rightwing Extremists.
Yeah, you are right. Heck too late now, i’m heading out the door..... but people who knew Hillary said this will recognize it.
Don’t worry, you’re ALREADY on the list for having a login here. So go check it out. I checked it out as a defiant move, myself.
But, you can also get it online, electronically in its entirety, if you want.
Don't make a big deal about it. Help someone build a garage and they'll help you dig a pond. Keep it between friends. A favor for a favor. Are favors illegal?
I am doing just that. Self employed and just don't feel like working that hard. I even sold a piece of property and had a capital gains but not enough to have to pay federal income tax. Many business expenses and very little income, just don't feel like working anymore.
I am tired after working for almost 40 years and paying SS to find out I am going to receive about $600 a month at age 62.
