DETROIT, MI - General Motors intends to create a new auto division as part of its plan to avoid Chapter 11 bankruptcy, according to sources inside the company. The division will focus on the production of wind hybrids - a new, yet unproven technology that combines wind power, battery operated electrical motors and conventional gasoline engines. Executives believe the move will satisfy consumer demand for environmentally friendly cars and fulfill government requirements for continued public funding...

That’s true. You’ll have bird parts stacked up a foot deep in no time. /s

Has anyone ever walked through those wind farms and counted the dead birds. I’ll bet they’re no more prevalent than they are on any decent sized farm, where you find little dead animals on a normal basis.

OK, I get it. Stop selling the units that actually turn profits and instead throw all your faith behind a relatively untried, untested concept. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Yeah, I don’t know. The enviros have made a lot of noise about the number of birds being killed by the windmills. I can remember as a kid seeing birds flying into windows and breaking their necks. I wonder if the numbers are comparable to windmill deaths.

Time to Get Detroit Back on the Road
http://www.americandigest.org/

Yesterday we noted that the gelded GM proposes to reverse-engineer its sexuality by merging with the metrosexual vehicle company, Segway, to make the OWay, a vehicle that can make testicles retract on sight and any man’s voice go up three octaves just by sitting in it. It is the very model for a modern metrosexual. People such as James Wolcott would cash out their MTF fund to buy one. Gazing at the vehicle brings to mind the old WWII movies in which the Nazi on the motorcycle is tooling along the alpine roads oblivious to the piano wire stretched across it and rooting for the wire.

But rescue, real rescue is .... click here to continue: http://www.americandigest.org/

We live in what could be termed a hill-side home. We have large windows and birds slam into them every so often. Ssshhhhhh, don’t tell. Next they’ll want us to board our windows up.

I have yet to see a bird doing itself in, but I’m sure they’ve had a few headaches. LOL

“Executives believe the move will satisfy consumer demand for environmentally friendly cars and fulfill government requirements for continued public funding...”

Congratulations America, we now own this heap of garbage on behalf of our illustrious President. Billions more will be poured into this, I promise.

Isn’t Socialism fun?

Introducing the revolutionary – and we DO MEAN REVOLUTIONARY –2010 Obama Motors (formerly GM) HOPEMOBILE 1 ½ passenger, wind-powered transport unit.

Standard equipment includes:

In-dash teleprompter for those tricky toll booth conversations;

Audio CD of Obama’s book “Audacity of Hope” to be played on those calm days when no hot wind power is available;

Large trunk for hauling those ACORN posters – and pre-marked ballots -- to the polling place on election day;

Test drive one the next windy day!
