They have long since decided to take their chances...but it won't diminish the horror and astonishment on their faces when they finally get their wish!

“Not again!”

Yeah... and I didn’t even know He was sick!

You said — I guess that sNoozweak is just trying to help it along??

Well, if anything, Newsweek would only be helping *clear out the deadwood* from Christianity and nothing more than that...

I mean, a magazine article (or two or three...) can’t change a person’s “new spirit” in a Christian, put there by God, Himself. How can an article undo what God has done? It can’t happen.

But, what can happen, are those who do not have the new spirit placed there by God, can feel free to abandon “Christianity” which they were never a part of in the first place (hence the “dead wood”...).

How dare you say some folks who claim to be Christians are not what they claim!

How dare you speak the truth!!! Don’t you know you’re in danger of being charged with a hate-thought-crime???

Heh, heh...

I did! It’s thought provoking.brings to mind the thought that one person plants, another waters and another reaps. That modern prophet never sees the Remnant so well but the Remnant gets the benefit of his work.

Nietzsche tried to declare God is dead too, then he died.

I can't speak for America as a whole, but I can tell you that, as a 47 year-old, I have never seen as much dedication and deep faith in Jesus Christ that I have seen at my church over the last nine years, especially among the young people.

There is a real movement towards genuine faith in Christianity today - it may not have the sheer numbers that it had twenty or thirty years ago, but the fire is burning just as brightly and impacting thousands of lives.

==That modern prophet never sees the Remnant so well but the Remnant gets the benefit of his work.

That’s how Christians need to operate at ALL TIMES!

"How can an article undo what God has done? It can’t happen"

I said help it along, not undo it. God promised "Strong Delusion."

Of all the stupid times to push the idea that God is dead, Easter has to be the stupidest.

But it's no surprise.

Satan's biggest and most concentrated attacks on Christianity almost always happen around Easter.

I've seen it in years past.

2 Thessalonians 2
The Great Apostasy
1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ[a] had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin[b] is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God[c] in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
