I am quite certain that this is not the protocol, and is most unbecoming a President of the United States. |
I saw that and wondered why Newt was so calm that he seemed okay with global terrorism.
While we went our merry way, white civilization has come under attack by people whose hatred has turned to world-wide revenge. Though it’s all beyond reason, their hatred and anger are real.
“Heads of state are not supposed to bow to each other”
He’s bowing to his muslim ruler!
Clueless?
Insane?
Knows exactly what he is doing?
O-bozo is a disgrace. I can’t say what I really think here.
Shouldn’t this have a Barf Alert on it? Snub the Queen and bow to the Arabs?
We have SUCH a mess to get out of. *shakes head*
Dang.
Very bad, Americans are to swear allegence to the US Consitution.
“before you go too crazy....look at the picture again....looks like everyone is looking at SOMETHING.....not sure its what it appears (bowing)”
Well, if AP reported it that way WHEN posting this picture I would say THAT is what it is!!!
For those who claim he might not be bowing, here’s what the caption on the photo says:

In the group photo yesterday, most heads of states were smiling in a dignified manner.
Except one.
Barry showed an enormous amount of teeth and grinned like a 6 yr old posing for his kindergarten class picture.
No, the title/pic speaks for itself.
Amazing << Hear this. Feel this, and tell me that this isn't music.
Oh, dear...
Clearly obommie is bending his knee to bow to the mooselimb. Disgusting!!!!! I can’t wait to see the DBM show it on nightly news....
Actually, nothing is exactly why he is nicknamed zero.
;-)
I want to see the video of this.
LOL Too funny!
“I dont know...is it possible whoever wrote the caption got it wrong and just thought he was bowing? I mean it sure looks like hes going down to pick something up. Even the guy to his right looks like hes going in to do the same. And then you got those other guys all looking down at something. I sure hope thats the case, if not we will all be the laughing stock.”

Yes, yes it possible. I know I bet what the picture shows is not ‘Zero’ bowing but being chiding about his fly being open! Some people! I bet that those pictures of the planes flying in to the Twin towers werenot acts of terror they were simple flight sudents’ navigational errors!
Maybe someone should call and ask if this is appropriate protocol? (I can’t be making long distance calls at the moment, or spending any money I don’t absolutely HAVE to, or I would do it myself...)
For Protocol Questions: 202-647-1735
I looked for an email, but alas there is none...
Mideastern common custom. Nothing more or less. Odd to us but common there.
Honestly, it doesn’t matter if his intention was to bow or not... If WE are seeing that this looks like capitulation just IMAGINE what our enemies see in this...
This is exactly why protocol is important, actions sometimes speak much louder than words when it comes to diplomacy.
I wonder why no other pics of this, “bow or greet” (Getty and AP captions), anywhere?
Weird.
At least he didn’t kneel.
Even ‘enemies’ in Japan bow to each other before kicking their arses... You just don’t look at the ground when you do it...
