May I suggest that unions become liable for any actions of their members that cause damages? Sort of a modification of the joint and several liability doctrine that has been used against companies...

Great idea! If agency theory has to be perverted, let it be perverted equally for all.

Union thugs went after us when I was young. Not pretty.

There’s a simple solution, stop buying union made products and services. Put these thugs, clowns and Dhimmirat supporters out of business.

Originally from the Burgh, worked at Edgar Thompson works many years back. Been in unions & management; bottomline, the company always runs the union; everything else is for show.

I remember back in 81 when Reagen came to town. 15,000 upset layed off steelworkers blocking entrances to building where Reragen was suppose to speak; they almost cancelled speech. A couple years later, 90% of those steelworkers voted for Reagen. Union officials are like politicians, bloodsuckers in it for themselves; but most union members just like me and you.

Or in reality...

There’s a simple solution, stop buying union made products and services. Put these thugs, clowns and Dhimmirat supporters out of business. That way, they'll get on the Obama gravy train, collect big $, and probably get free healthcare to boot. Oh, and you can enjoy paying for it all as a taxpayer.

Can you say that again, slower, so I can understand you?

Thanks.

Good point. Passions got the best of me.

Too many bad memories of union thugs threatening to kill my Father, trying to “muscle” me into voting for union and being the laziest SOBs I’ve ever met more times than not.

If there is ever a SHTF situation, they will probably pee their pants and run.

Unions are like barnacles, ugly, worthless things that only exist to foul the hull of ships while protecting a squishy little piece of foul meat inside that busies itself sucking up nourishment from its surroundings while expending no effort.

"Some in the suburbs want Pittsburgh to emulate NYC."

Or Philadelphia or have you forgotten?

Don and I were at the AFP meeting in Plymouth Meeting just outside Philly this evening. We were hoping to pick up a speaker or two and attendees for our Philly Tea Party across from Independence Hall, April 18th, as well as support the cause against the open ballot.

There were lots of police and when Don asked about it they said there had been some union trouble at other rallies.

No trouble at the Plymouth Meeting rally though. Notice they didn't hold it in Philly as they held it in Pittsburgh and Harrisburg. I wonder why?

Excellent speech by Toomey. Joe the PLumber wasn't there. Now I know the likely reason!

Thanks for remembering Gondring. : )

The unions aren’t nearly as violent as yhey were half a century ago.

One of my wifes uncle had 2 of his men killed by the The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades and they ran he and her aunt off Angeles Crest Highway and almost killed them.

Another contractor friend had his office and trucks/equipment burned down and 2 others had all their gas tanks sugared on their trucks.

They are equally vulnerable to the very threats they perpetrate against their victims.

From their Union bosses if they 'strike out'?
