Just before the inauguration, 47 percent of respondents identified as Republicans had a positive view of Michelle Obama. In the recent poll that number increased to 59 percent.

Well, I imagine some did. She's not dislikable. Plus she's not Hillary and she dresses and carries herself well. I think she has a tough position to fill, especially given the ages of the girls.

Our polls (and elections?) have become like the next episode of American Idol. Next it will be 'text' #_____ to cast your vote here. One big popularity contest devoid of substance with options for multiple votes. To rate her outfit or to vote for the next president.

Many people believe that Barak Obama is motivated by a simmering anger perhaps against class, perhaps against the white race and this accounts for his demonstrated collectivist behavior since taking office.

But I am far more frightened of the ill disguised fanaticism of Michelle Obama. Her resentments against America have been more than once expressed on camera. On another occasion, I recall she betrayed that if her husband ever got power, but America would never be the same. I sense a Kool-Aid drinker.

Here is a leap in the game of armchair psychology. I believe she is angry and fanatical as a compensation for her undeniable failings even in an affirmative action environment.

I think we should thank God that she is not the president.
