He passed peacefully around 11 am with his step son and step daughter by his side. I got the call from his step-son, but have just been able to calm myself to let all of you know. Please share your thoughts, prayers, or a favorite story of Ray.
Agreed there is a seat warmed up...I can just imagine their discussions. 8^D
Joining you in missing them and thanks for the ping.
Prayers for you, Lisa.
Prayers for Ray, for his family and friends, and for everyone who loved and cared for him.
Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord,
And let perpetual Light shine upon them.
May their souls
And the souls of all the faithful departed
Through the mercy of God
Rest in peace.
Amen.

Thank you for mentioning the love “Ray” had for my mother. She was the love of his life, with computers and politics next.
His daughter,
Tabitha
May God comfort you and your family during this trial in your life.
Oh, Tabitha, thank you for answering.
Your father loved you, too, and you could tell by his posts how proud he was of you.
You all will be in my prayers. God bless you for taking the time to answer me.

Common Tator was one of the very first members I read here at FR - back when I first joined. That also, by default, means he was influential in why I kept coming back here and I didn’t even realize it ‘til just now. :-t
