Nope. Never was. I always felt that whoever found the most Easter eggs should get to keep them all because they clearly demostrated a superior whit and quickness that others couldn’t achieve. :)
The first person I ever voted for was Jimmy Carter.
I was young, stupid and after all, he was “born again”.
After that lesson I ran screaming into the arms of
Ronald Reagan and the Republican party.
We may see a huge shift to conservatism if we survive
Obama.
Praying...
Nice !!!! Very well done written letter.
Universal truths I knew at 18: (1985)
1) Reagan was the Man
2) Soviet Union was just plain evil
3) Carter and Mondale were a joke
4) Big military buildup = safe USA
5) the 60’s sucked
6) Lech Walesa was one brave SOB
7) Pope John Paul was one tough cookie
8) USA should have leveled Tehran in 1979
9) Many of my friends were Alex P Keatons and had very liberal parents
10) Liberal Baby boomers will be the death of us all
As Nike says “Just Do It!” The same Nike who sponsors Obama lover Tiger Woods.
I have a Obot who does some side consulting work. Great guy but he is out of work. I cannot stand to be around him now. I know how Obama plans on destroying this country and he may succeed. I give him things that are only vital and I am looking for someone else.
The orig poster is a Mass Gop guy and trying to bring up a kid in liberal MA must be tough. All the pro-Kennedy loving propaganda and other brainwashing the kids must go through.
I got a hug. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
circa 1985 or a few years earlier at early 20-something youth:
11) Liberal girls were easy and fun for a while.
12) Did not fully appreciate how lucky we were to have Reagan.
13) Pope, Reagan & Lech took on the USSR while “Catholic” Notre Dame Uni wants to give a muslim & baby killer a honorary PhD.
14) Asst Sec of Navy Jim Webb was not a traitor yet and before he wrote Vietnam kiddie porn novels.
“Lets not be too hard on them, when I was 18 I was a Liberal too.”
Yeah, let’s coddle them for their stupid and dangerous decisions and actions that will bring America to its knees.
Age is no excuse; when I was 18 I was revolted by liberals. At 18, people have brains and the ability to read and think.
My 18 year old daughter cast her first ballot in November. Since I often talk about driving 400 miles to vote for Ronald Reagan in my fisrt election, she was upset that the only choice was McCain.
She is very open at college about her dislike of Messiah.
That’s a good one, I’m sure all the young Obama voters will enjoy the training camps.
At least one of my grandkids voted for Obama. He graduated with a political science degree last Spring from one of the brainwashing universities. It’s sad, the indoctrination begins with the Weekly Reader and Earth Day in elementary school and follows them right through college.
Since our IRA took a thumping and the future of our finances is not promising, we wiil have to tell our family that gifts will not be so lavish now.
Tell them as per budgetary constraints, you'll be doing this thing “Obama’s way”.
By your vote, you have chosen another family over ours for help. So in the future, if you need assistance with your rent, money for gas, tires for your car, someone to bring you lunch, etc....call 202-456-1111. That's the telephone number for the Office of the President of the United States .I'm sure Mr.Obama will be happy to send a check from his personal or business accounts or leave cash in an envelope taped to his front door.
If you'd been paying attention to the first rounds of "town hall style meetings" that is exactly what the Obamabots think he's there for.
My in-laws, who have migrated to being liberals as they aged and want “more free stuff”, made it pretty apparent they’d be voting for Hussein. Then we made it pretty clear that we wouldn’t be supporting anyone, including family, who voted for Hussein. Didn’t hear much political discussion after that. Guess they came to the conclusion that free stuff from us was more tangible than free stuff from Uncle Sugar.
I voted so foolishly in the 1976 election that I didn’t trust myself to vote for another 20 years.
"Hi, eve'ybody!!!"
"Any man who is under 30, and is not a liberal, has not heart; and any man who is over 30, and is not a conservative, has no brains.
-Winston Churchill
