You don't talk to terrorists, you stop them (with whatever means necessary).

Every current and former US Official pushing this should be immediately put under investigation for money laundering and the LOBBYING DISCLOSURE ACT.

I don’t see why not, negotiating with terrorists has always worked in the past.

A top economic adviser to US President Barack Obama, along with nine former senior officials, is calling on the American leader to launch a dialogue with Hamas, the The Boston Globe reported Saturday

This will be the first step to signing a treaty known as "TAFTA", the Terrorist Allied Free Trade Act, so that Obama can send Hamas a stimulus check to boost that economy as well.

Follow the money. This is horrendous advice by advisors with bad advice. World terrorism must be defeated soundly by all means possible. Negotiation and talking have never gotten anywhere, none, nada, with any of the groups calling themselves “Palestinians.” Netanyahu naively gave away the store under the Oslo Accords and received in return more terrorism than ever. Let’s hope he learned his lesson and will be more realistic and sticks to what he knows: that there is no negotiating with terrorists. The Palestinian Authority is every bit as much a terrorist group as Hamas, Hezbollah, and Fatah.

The so-called academic intellectual, Brzezinski was in bed with terrorists his whole adult life, a flaming apologist for terrorists going back forty years. Facts should have discredited Brzezinski long ago, but the NY Times always loved him. Obama is bringing back the worst that ever was in U.S. foreign policy advising. His ilk find fault only with the U.S. Follow the money.

As a lead in to the discussions, why not mention how Barry Soetoro converted from Islam to Christianity? You know, sort of a conversation starter. Just to get the ball rolling.

Naivete...thy name is Obama.

First we’re going to make friends w/Cuba and Russia, and on that news they’re talking of placing bombers in Cuba.

Then we’re going to talk to Iran and the moderate Taleban, LOL.

And now we need a dialogue with Hamas.

Unbelievable!

I always thought just when the Lefties called Freepers terrorists it was an insult. Maybe it just means they want to negotiate with us and give us foreign aid.

The US has talked to and helped lots of terrorist leaders in the past and has backstabbed millions of innocent people around the world. It’s called realpolitik/ pandering to international business.

Why change now???

According to the report, Paul A. Volcker and other members of the bipartisan group - including former national security advisers Brent Scowcroft and Zbigniew Brzezinski - have sent a letter to Obama urging him to engage Hamas in order to coax the terrorist organization to disarm and join a peaceful Palestinian unity government.

Apparently, the only ones who know that there is no such thing as a peaceful Palestinian unity government are Hamas and the Palestinian Authority. "Moderate" President Abbas, whose Fatah organization includes the Al-Aksa Martyrs, responsible for most of the terrorist attacks in the West Bank, wants Israel to cease to exist as a Jewish state every bit as much as does Haniyeh of Hamas. Abbas had nothing but praise and admiration for the Palestinian psychopath who broke into the Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva in Israel and murdered eight students, calling him a "Hero of the Palestinian cause."

That's the Emm-Eff to whom we've sent all of our money, as well as thousands of advanced M-16 assault rifles and millions of rounds of ammunition that his Al-Aksa thugs received and used against israel.

Meanwhile, despite the sell-out of Israel by Chillary (you DID know that she was anti-Israel all along, right?), and the latest Jimmy Carter kumbaya, Mamas has repeated its hardline stance that it will NEVER recognize Israel's right to exist.

After all that ZERO has done, I wonder what the folks in the GOP would say now. Y'know, the ones who claimed that McCain would have been as bad as Obama?

Hamas wasn't elected to do that. Who are they going to listen to their constituents or 0bobblehead?
