The following just in from Nancy at familysecuritymatters.org (read to the end for word of a new report concerning a "new SDS" on campuses):
In a sensational letter to be released at a March 12 National Press Club news conference, the San Francisco Police Officers Association (SFPOA) tells Cliff Kincaid of Americas Survival, Inc., and FamilySecurityMatters.org contributing editor, that evidence in the 1970 bombing murder of a San Francisco police officer points to Weather Underground members Bernardine Dohrn and Bill Ayers, two associates of President Barack Obama. The letter will be made public at a news event that will feature a former FBI informant in the Weather Underground saying that Ayers told him that Dohrn planted the bomb that killed Sergeant Brian V. McDonnell. The informant, Larry Grathwohl, has testified under oath before the U.S. Senate about the bombing plot.
"There are irrefutable and compelling reasons to believe that Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn, members of the terrorist group 'Weather Underground' are largely responsible for the bombing of Park Police Station and other police stations throughout the United States during their 'tour of terror' in the late 1960s and early 1970s," the SFPOA letter states. The SFPOA letter is signed by all five officers of the SFPOA.
The SFPOA letter says that while Sgt. McDonnell was the sole fatality of this heinous and cowardly act," which occurred on February 16, 1970, eight other policemen were seriously injured. "Those responsible for the cold blooded murder...and the injuries to the other officers have never been brought to justice and the case remains open," the letter notes.
"The San Francisco Police Officers' Association joins Mr. Cliff Kincaid of America's Survival, Inc. in his valiant and noble effort to urge a renewed effort by the appropriate Law Enforcement Agencies (Local, State, and Federal) to bring this case to a close and bring those responsible for the murder of Sgt. Brian McDonnell and the injuries to the other officers to the justice they have so long eluded."
In addition to releasing the letter, Jim Pera, a retired San Francisco Police Officer who was one of the first on the scene after the 1970 bombing, will describe the devastating impact of the blast. In addition, two reports on the Weather Underground will be released. They are "What was the Weather Underground?" by former Congressional investigator Herbert Romerstein, and "From Arms to Education to Political Power the Return of the SDS and the Weather Underground," by Cliff Kincaid and internationally-renown blogger and researcher Trevor Loudon. The latter examines how members of the Weather Underground have regrouped to form a new SDS on college campuses.
*The News Conference will be held at 12:30 p.m. at the National Press Club, 529 14th St., N.W., 13th floor, Washington, D.C. Reservations can be made by contacting griffin@griffnews.com or by calling 703-255-2211.
Are they going to be charged? There’s no statute of limitations on murder.
These people are crazy!
When I first met Barack Obama, he was giving a standard, innocuous little talk in the living room of those two legends-in-their-own-minds, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, Warren, wrote on her blog in 2005. They were launching him—introducing him to the Hyde Park community as the best thing since sliced bread.
******
And this bastard is the President of the United States. Don’t ask me what people are thinking!!!
Northwestern Law employee and former Weatherman fascist Bernardine Dohrn claims to have never supported terrorism.

And this...
Northwestern also employs a Holocaust denier Arthur Butz

A founder of the Weatherman group, Bernardine Dohrn was a member of the Weather Bureau. Larry Grathwohl, an FBI informant who was with the Weatherman from 1969 through 1970, considered Dohrn one of the two top leaders of the organization, along with Bill Ayers.
Bernardine Dohrn (click on wanted poster to enlarge) was a principal signatory on the groups Declaration of a State of War in 1970 that formally declared war on the U.S. Government, and completed the groups transformation from political advocacy to violent action.
Dohrn also co-wrote and published the subversive manifesto Prairie Fire in 1974, Dohrn clearly stated support for Communist ideology, In the late 1970s, the Weatherman group split into two factions the May 19 Coalition and the Prairie Fire Collective with Dohrn and Ayers in the latter. Once a Commie always a Commie
U.S. FEDERAL BUREAU OF PRISONS RECORDS;
BERNARDINE DOHRN age now 66, White F , RELEASED 12-23-1982.
In 1982 Dohrn did eight months in a Federal prison for refusing to testify before a grand jury about the 1981 Brinks robbery ($1.6 Mill) that involved David Gilbert (doing life) and Kathy Boudin (granted parole on August 20, 2003) that resulted in the shooting death of two Nyack NY cops and a security guard.
On Oct. 20, 1981, Sgt. Edward OGrady, Patrolman Waverly Brown and Brinks guard Peter Paige were gunned down in Rockland County, N.Y. by heavily armed terrorists. The half dozen gunmen all Americans were members of the Weather Underground, a faction of the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and the Black Liberation Army, formed from members of the Black Panther Party and the Republic of New Afrika.
Ayers said in his book that he participated in the bombing of New York City police headquarters in 1970, the U.S. Capitol in 1971, and the Pentagon in 1972. In September 2001, the New York Times quoted him as saying, I dont regret setting bombs . . . I feel we didnt do enough.
Ayers wife, Bernardine Dohrn, was sent to prison for failing to cooperate in solving the robbery of a Brinks armored car in which two police officers were killed. Charges against Ayers were dropped because the FBI used so-called national security wiretaps that could not be used legally in criminal cases.
IN 1970, Bill Ayers and other members of the Weather Underground group set up a bomb factory in an apartment on Pine St. in San Francisco CA.
***Bill Ayers fingerprints were found in the San Francisco apartment when the Weather Underground bombers fled California, the apartment was rented from April 1970 to March 1971.***
In New York City a second bomb factory was set up in Greenwich Village, it blew up. The WUO would go on to bomb buildings such as the US Capitol, The Pentagon, the US Department of State and several buildings in San Francisco from 1968 to 1974.
February 16, 1970: A bomb is detonated at the Golden Gate Park branch of the San Francisco Police Department, killing one officer and injuring a number of other policemen. No organization claims credit for either bombing. Brian V. McDonnell, a police sergeant, was fatally wounded in its blast; Robert Fogarty, another police officer, was severely wounded in his face and legs and was partially blinded.
Bernardine Dohrn has been accused of planting the bomb that killed San Francisco policeman Brian V. McDonnell. When police raided a Weathermen bomb factory in Pine Street San Francisco in 1970, they found the fingerprints of Bill Ayers, Machtinger and Rudd.
The inside of the San Francisco Police station looked like it had been hit by a couple of hand grenades, windows shattered, blood on the pock-marked walls and dazed cops wandering around disoriented.
The bomb was so powerful that fragments, which consisted of barbed wire and fence post staples (horse farm stuff), were found on the roof of Polytechnic High School which was located across Kezar Stadium and Frederick St., approximately two blocks away. Polytechnic High School was three stories high.
Larry Grathwohl, the FBI mole within the Weathermen, connected Ayers to the planning and his wife, Bernadine Dohrn, to the execution of the police station bombing in San Francisco on February 16th 1970 that killed one officer and injured two others. Grathwohl testified that Ayers had discussed the deadly incident after the fact.
The revelation came as Ayers was talking about the organizational difficulties in running a terrorist cell:
[H]e cited as one of the real problems that someone like Bernardine Dohrn had to plan, develop, and carry out the bombing of the police station in San Francisco, and he specifically named her as the person that committed that act. . . .
He said that the bomb was placed on the window ledge and he described the kind of bomb that was used to the extent of saying what kind of shrapnel was used in it. . . .
[I]f he wasnt there to see it, somebody who was there told him about it, because he stated it very emphatically.
Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn got away with murder, one way or another.

AMY GOODMAN (host of “Democracy Now”): On Fox News, Bill OReilly made Bill Ayers his drumbeat.
Amy Goodwin got arrested at the GOP Convention because she was your average liberal reporter who felt that she didnt have to listen to the police officers on the scene. She felt her press pass gave her complete access to the area even after the cop told her to get back on the sidewalk. That is truly what this has to do with. It was not a government conspiracy, Amy.

Another damn hippie wanna be.
You should look up the word “sarcasm” in the dictionary and then figure out how to spot it LOL.
.....
They were all groomed for one thing. Social Revolution to destroy the American Ruling Class (whomever the hell that was supposed to be). Hillary (the Alynsky expert who, remember, was from Chicago) and Bill the Rhodes Scholar are in the club too.
The average American can't even imagine half of this kook filled nightmare. One thing is for sure. Bill Ayers and Bernie are a very dangerous people.
They make it sound like he was a member of the Mousekateers! This was (and remains) a very nasty group of people who were and are passionate about destroying the "American Establishment" and creating a government based on kooky principles of social justice and other Leftist clap trap. The Soviet Union died but these people are every bit as passionate about social revolution as ever. Huge threat to US internal security (although, probably not as much under the new administration).
I remember it well because I worked at Gulf Oil then on the 28th floor of that building - one floor below where the bomb was planted.
It went off in the evening, thankfully, after most workers, including me, had gone home. And thankfully, no one was hurt or killed.
My boss was there though. He was a chemical engineer who was from Toronto but assigned to the Pittsburgh office. He did not move his family to Pittsburgh and had just that day come back to Pittsburgh from a visit home. He came directly to the office from the airport to catch up on mail when the bomb went off.
He was questioned as a witness by the FBI. Dr. D did have a dry way of putting things. He was quoted in the Pittsburgh papers as saying that "he thought the bomb was no more powerful than some of the chem class experiments that went off accidentally in college."
Can't be pardoned for a crime they haven't been charged with yet.
NOTHING will come of this - under the current Administration.
Period - end of session..
However - in a SANE world, neither of these two should still be alive....
Folks beyond the reach of the “Justice System” should have been handled by “extra-judicial” means....years ago.
Frankly, more worried about FR’s rep.
Agreeing! Mod got it too!
Ayers and Dohrn are terrorists who got a pass. Your boss was lucky. I pray justice is finally done.
Was Ayers convicted, and acquitted on appeal? I don’t think so. I also don’t think he was tried and acquitted.
In either case, he can’t be tried again.
I thought, however, that the incriminating evidence was tainted (Fourth Amendment), and excluded, and thus he was not tried.
Nope. Nixon.
