It is an article of faith in the loopier precincts of the Internet, impervious to evidence to the contrary, that Barack Obama is ineligible to be president of the United States because he is not a "natural born citizen" as the Constitution requires.
All this would be quite harmless, like believing in the Illuminati or alien abduction, except that the extra-chromosome true believers have taken to filing suit in the federal courts basically seeking to overturn the election.

A minor change to HSR 338-18(b), adding the to the list of people who have access to DOH Vital Statistic (birth certificate) records:
338-18(b) The department shall not permit inspection of public
health statistics records, or issue a certified copy of any such
record or part thereof, unless it is satisfied that the
applicant has a direct and tangible interest in the record. The
following persons shall be considered to have a direct and
tangible interest in a public health statistics record: ...
add:
(14) A law enforcement officer, as defined by section
710-1000(13), who needs vital statistics records as
evidence in a criminal investigation, provided that
the law enforcement officer requests the vital
statistics records by providing identification and
submitting to the department a signed statement
verifying, under penalty of criminal prosecution for
false swearing in official matters, (A) that the
officer is a law enforcement officer as defined by
section 710-1000 (13), (B) that the officer is acting
in the officer's official capacity, and (C) that the
vital statistics records are needed as evidence in a
criminal investigation."
This Bill is expected to pass in Hawaii about the same time Missouri will pass HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 34, allowing for RETROACTIVE and MANDATORY Missouri SOS and AG verification of candidate qualification, SPECIFICALLY any office which has a requirement that the candidate be a Natural Born Citizen. The CertificaTION of Live Birth will specifically NOT be accepted.
I'd love to, but the evidence to prove the matter lies locked up in the State of Hawaii.
This academic debate will only last so long. As more of our military questions this, the onus will be on 0bama to prove that he is actually their Commander-in-Chief. Their responsibility is to the nation as defined by her Constitution, and they follow the man who is President as defined by that Constitution, not a man who simply claims to be the President. Before 0bama, there was no question that the claimant and the genuine President were one in the same.

right to privacy? he produced a digital copy which hawaii says they have an original for....the law protects us from every random person demanding to see every document in your life, I couldn’t go and demand to see your birth certificate, and you can’t Obama without definite proof that he was not a US natural born citizen, and the stuff posted around the web about the grandmother isn’t enough for a court. We don’t want to end up in mccarthism where everyone has to stand up and say they aren’t something or else they are, it doesn’t work like that, you have to prove that they aren’t something...otherwise we’ll have commissions saying everyone’s a secret communist again

leo isn’t a law enforcement officer, he’s a private lawyer, he’d have to convince a judge to force a deputy or someone else in law enforcement to look at it, which I believe is how we got into the mess in the first place as the judges aren’t forcing Obama to do so

LEO is not in reference to any specific person (including Leo Donofrio), it is a law enforcement officer (LEO) in a general sense for a hypothetical situation.
Even the president has some right to privacy...not as much of one but we still don’t have the media follow him into the bedroom and such, and there’s a difference between the government making you do something and a private citizen....this lawsuit isn’t the government trying to see a document, but a private citizen...i agree that there probably should be a change in law just to calm everyone down next time, but they’ll find something else...they always do...and just because you claim that Obama doesn’t qualify doesn’t make it so...in a court of law one needs proof...obama has shown prima facia evidence to his birthplace and constitutional eligibility in his digital copy one, it would fall if someone found definitive proof that it was a fake, or that he lied on it...but you haven’t yet so it still stands

When proving elibility for a job, the one who wants the job is supposed to provide proof he’s eligible. 0bama has scrubbed and hidden his entire life. If he had not, everyone would have tons of proof.
He needs to prove eligibility. When you run for the highest office in the land, there should be no secrets. The Constitution is very clear on Presidential eligibility requirements.
You are new, maybe a troll. You need to understand that this is a CONSTITUTIONAL issue. And it needs to be addressed.
