So now all I have to do to be knighted is be an alcoholic, drown my secretary, and interfere with the rape investigation on my nephew. My how the empire has fallen.

Alot of Brits have to question this. Gordon Brown probably sat there in shock as Obama requested this favor...and had to pull every single trick in the book to get the queen to agree to this. She likely pulled a dozen problems and insisted Gordon fix them before agreeing to any of this. The curious thing is that Ted is in pretty bad shape, and very likely unable to make a 8-hr flight to the UK to do this ceremony...and based on press info...he’ll be lucky to make it to June.

If Kennedy accepts he's violating the Constitution:

Article I - Section 9 -

No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state.

Of course we all know Dems are famous for trashing the constitution so since when does THAT stop them!?! And don't expect our pravda media to point this out either.

I am just furious - - our entire govt is CORRUPT beyond belief.

Queen Elizabeth has conferred honorary knighthood on Sen. Edward Kennedy, the veteran Massachusetts Democrat who is battling brain cancer.

The Queen of England plans to honor a murderer !

Unreal. I have over the past couple of days been looking into why the great Patrick Macnee of “The Avengers” has not been knighted (apparently when he became an American citizen, the Crown got a bit ticked off is all I can come up with), and now i read the Queen has knighted a mediocre, besotted U.S. Senator who would never have been elected in the first place but for his last name.

Sheesh.
