Ever since Barack Obama became a prominent political fixture in the country, he has encountered a large number of rumors and smears concerning him and his family.
- - clip - -
Most of the charges were, for the most part, put to rest by vigorous responses from the Obama team during the campaign.
But one conspiracy theory lives on -- despite overwhelming evidence debunking it.
Politico.com reports that the Birthers -- a persistent group of conservatives who believe Obama is ineligible to be president because of alleged questions surrounding his birth status -- continue to operate and thrive on the fringe... { with more smearing of Obama non-believing infidels - followed by a POLL. }
POLL question: Do you have any doubt about Obama's eligibility to be president because of his birth status?
(Excerpt) Read more at news.aol.com ...
And even with all the smears in the "article" to push this POLL in Obama's favor, 47% (currently) DO HAVE DOUBTS.
As he destroys the nation more will have doubts.
Prior posts did not alert Freepers to the POLL - after the push to fix the results.
Great tagline!!
This reminds me of the swiftboaters wherein the msm declared thier opinions debunked and yet never did debunk anything.
What overwhelming evidence are they speaking of?
I haven't seen anything definitive on one side or the other and I'll wait for all of the evidence before making a final judgement.
“despite overwhelming evidence debunking it.”
What is that overwhelming evidence?
On the stupid TOPIX forums about the subject, I continue to
post the link WWW.obamacrimes.info.
I have posted it probaby 50 times and yet to have an
Obamifool even acknowledge it.
They all say they saw Obamie’s BC on TV, so that’s that.
Can’t let anything slow down the march of the Marxist.
Voted YES on the first one.
The other two questions were stupid.
Kinda surprising coming away from that site and not find a dam desktop icon wanting to install frickin’ AOL.
"Vigorous responses"! I can't wait to use that against the IRS. No proof. Just "vigorous responses".
I hate the media.
Now linked:
I wanted to answer: The weirdest rumor I have heard about Obama is that he's qualified to be president of the United States.
They wouldn't let me post without signing up.
I didn't notice that side bar. AOL even skewed the group participation question to push the POLL response.
despite overwhelming evidence debunking it.
As far as I know, the man has spent really BIG BUCKS precisely to AVOID the debunking. If he COULD debunk the stories, why would he not do so?
When I see somebody spending big bucks to deny access to crucial information of personal importance, my sniffers start to twinge.
This particular twinge smells like a large stinking pile of crap.
One of the photos accompanying the article indicates that HI officials reported that the BC was on file in HI, and that it indicated as US birth. I don’t recall ever hearing that from the HI officials in anything that I’ve read or seen. I recall that they indicated that a BC is on file in HI, but released NO OTHER DETAILS.
Another example of the MSM covering for this Marxist SOB.
For my part...expending hundreds of thousands of dollars to hide this information is pretty damning evidence that something smells, somewhere...
This is an issue that deserves a fair and full hearing. It seems to me it would be such a simple thing...just release the BC, the college records, and the Passport records from his trip to Pakistan...
I won't sign up to post it.
*Birthers*: A new word to add the the *slide* dictionary.
“In the case of Common Purpose, its huge neurological linguistic control offensive is directed at sweeping all resident notions from the victims mind and psyche, and replacing them with slides , or the politically correct notions that the control manipulators seek to impose.”

Among my favorite “proofs” is the fact that there was a birth announcement in the paper back then. All it really proves is something we all know; Grandparents post announcements of their grandchild’s birth.
My nieces and nephews were born all over the country but they all got birth announcements in the local paper. Sometimes those announcements indicated they were born elsewhere sometimes they didn’t.
It doesn’t mean there was a conspiracy to make baby Zero the president some day but it does come in handy for a family of dedicated communists who realize what they have later on.
The only sure thing here is that he could clear it up in an instant if he chose to do so.
