Bill Clinton had the Vince Foster "murder." George W. Bush had 9/11 Truth. And the new administration has brought with it a new culture of conspiracy: The Birthers.
Out of the gaze of the mainstream and even the conservative media is a flourishing culture of advocates, theorists and lawyers, all devoted to proving that Barack Obama isn't eligible to be president of the United States.
Viewed as irrelevant by the White House, and as embarrassing by much of the Republican Party, the subculture still thrives from the conservative website WorldNetDaily, which claims that some 300,000 people have signed a petition demanding more information on Obama's birth, to Cullman, Alabama, where Sen. Richard Shelby took a question on the subject at a town hall meeting last week.
Their confinement to the fringe hasn't cooled the passion of believers; the obscure New York preacher James Manning turned up at a National Press Club session in December to declare the president "the most notorious criminal in the history not just of America, but of this entire planet."

Besides, you grossly mis represent what was stated by the officials involved.
Just about every state has more than one version of the Birth Certificate/Certificate of Live Birth.
Why? Because, the laws as to who can deduct a “dependent” on a tax return, or who has “custody” in a domestic case, or what document is acceptable, on a passport, or who can be POTUS, are all DIFFERENT!
You are a wimp or a Democrat stooge.
I make no claim as to what is on any of these documents, but I demand that Obama PRODUCE: His original vault copy of his Birth Certificate, All Passports ever issued to him, All Bar Exam applications and all College Admission papers.
Why?
Because, if he WAS born in Hawaii, he might very well have lied on any one of these other documents.
If he WAS born in Hawaii, his father might be the Communist Frank Marshall Davis.
Because if he WAS born in Hawaii, he might have committed fraud by gaining college assistance, as a foreign national.
There is something there.
We know this, because OBAMA told us, in his own legal response, that these documents would “embarrass” him.

False. when you pay for a certified copy, it has an official seal on it, Obama will not produce it, and like the man says, why not, it costs about 12.50. I have a certified copy of mine, I have to use it to get a driver’s license, a passport, to buy a house, for just about anything since 911. Where is Obama’s?
No it did not occur in Turkey, it occurred in the former Yugoslavia, parts of which were not at all friendly at the time. However the crash site and the airport that they were headed for, are both in Croatia, which was friendly, more or less, at the time.

That is rank speculation KS58, in a country where a little league hopeful must produce a Birth Certificate, is it to much to ask for the President to produce his actual one?

It was reported the Gov. Linda Lingle sealed them. When that came out she issued a statement saying she did no such thing. That all birth certificates are handled the same. Only zer0 can get it, or a family member such as mo or one of his children.She insinuated he’s not even from there.
Lingle said she had never met him and that Ninety-five percent of the people in her state had never heard of him before he ran for president.

Obama’s lawyers have argued:
....revealing these documents raises a “legitimate privacy concern” and the above mentioned risk that “particularly serious embarrassment will result from turning over the requested documentation.”

I’m glad it’s good enough for you but it’s not good enough for many. Oh and by the way, you can get into the military with NO birth certificate and that’s a fact. Check it out.
If no citizen has a legal right to know if the man in the White House is CONSTITUTIONALLY QUALIFIED, then why should we pay any attention to any of the other odds and ends in the document that supposedly apply to us? It is flamingly obvious (RE: Declaring DC a State), that various unwanted parts of the Constitution no longer apply. As such, please explain why the rest of it should obeyed, and that, since shooting traitors is not actually covered, either, we can thus proceed to the next step?
This has got to be the Largest COVERUP in American Jurisprudence!
Also, if various states begin to pass laws that demand any Candidate for POTUS produce a certified copy of their original Birth Certificate -—

This is ridiculous. The REPUBLICAN Governor of the state and the Lt. Governor (the de facto HI Secretary of State) have both said that the Obama Hawaiian birth certificate is LEGITIMATE.

As a 20 year Marine Corps veteran, I don't need your advise on service eligibility requirements for the US Armed Forces. Yeah, you can enlist. But, no. You can't be an officer and no, you can't handle classified materials, and no you can't fly our planes unless you're a US citizen. And, if you're not a US citizen, you still need a BC from your country of origin.
So, the conclusion you are forced to cling to is that the Governor of the great state of HI is implying that the state is in the business of keeping on file FRAUDULENT birth certificates. USE SOME COMMON SENSE

No he REFUSED. He had a doctor say he was healthy now. That’s it.
However, Congress can NOT pass a law that changes the Constitution.
“Natural Born Citizen” means what it says: That at the MOMENT of Birth, Obama was a Citizen.
Any act of Congress, in the mater, would be “naturalization” and could NOT confer “Natural Born” status.
Still, I want states to demand, from here forward, that all candidates for POTUS produce a valid birth certificate copy.
