Soldier doubts eligibility, defies president's orders
WND ^ | 2/23/09 | Bob Unruh

A U.S. soldier on active duty in Iraq has called President Obama an "impostor" in a statement in which he affirmed plans to join as plaintiff in a challenge to Obama's eligibility to be commander in chief.

I think what happened at the Battle of the Bulge is instructive here. Nazi soldiers educated in America were dressed as American officers and proceeded to give perfidious orders to Allied soldiers (in addition to murdering them when the opportunity arised).

Those who disobeyed their orders did so because they were either warned to do so or they were able to expose the imposters by asking them questions that any loyal American would know. The situation we face is really no different in that we have an imposter as Commander-in-Chief.

I think that you will find plenty of other examples where subordinates determined as a group that their superior was not authorized to issue an order, or that issued an order countermanding the order of a higher-ranking officer, or was not in a sane frame of mind.

There is a reason why it takes TWO KEYS to launch a nuke, and in the scenarios I just described illustrate the reason for that.

But, I welcome different points of view.

Kelly LeBrock was okay, but I would have built this girl in front of my fridge

Indeed! If I were to try to build my dream girl, well, it would probably involve a bucket of airplane glue, and end up being just a dream.

I shouldn't joke about that. I already have my dream girl. Sometimes my wife stands in front of the refrigerator like that, and I always say the same romantic thing to her. "Hey! Didn't we use to have a refrigerator?" And that's when the fight breaks out.

I wonder if the 17,000 troops that Obama ordered to be sent to Afghanistan are the first ones with something to worry about here???

If this country isn’t worth fighting for, then why are you still here? I’m sure that a few of my friends and I could get enough money together to get you out of this “hellhole”. What ya say?

This is what you get when most, if not all, of his handlers are "typical white persons" but with very atypical amounts of disposable income that border on the obscene by any objective standards!

If money talks, then his handlers are screaming at the top of their lungs!

Hey pal, you're taking offense where none was intended. I've been a freeper here since nearly the very beginning, and I've watched good men do nothing for long enough. For over ten years, under two different screen names I have been harping to the point of annoyance here that conservatives need to man up, and unleash our boys in the field and let them WIN BY KILLING. I have Called Bush "President Pollyanna" for trying to make friends with our enemies during a time of war (Muqtada Al Sadr, and pakistan, CAIR etc.)

The marxists are all worthy of treason trials...But the men who failed to perform that duty are WORSE in my opinions. The commies are our enemies, and the RINOS who give AID and COMFORT to them through inaction are no better than Benedict Arnold. I waded into a crowd of 300 anti war protestors with a high powered megaphone, by myself, and dominated and ruined their rally...IN SUPPORT OF BUSH's war. Our men in the field show courage way beyond that everyday in the presence of our enemies. Bush wasted all of that effort by not letting them win....By letting OBL run across some border and ordering our boys not to follow, by leaving our border with mexico wide open,.....After all the time and moeny and effort we put into him and those like him, we were left as a conservative nation, empty handed.

Now we have another unfinished war. (korea, vietnam, GWI, now Iraq, probably Afghanistan too)

The "this country" you are referring to, doesn't exist anymore....and it's not my fault, I've done everything I could and will continue to....It just disgusts me that this LT is going to wind up more than likely court-martialed and wrecked for life, just like Micheal New was during the Clinton years...and not only do most Americans not care, they don't deserve it.

Your anger is misdirected...Call Bush or McCain if you want to vent. I never said this country isn't worth fighting for, I just meant it's time to wake up and smell the coffee, we're flat out of time.

This is my home. I'm not going anywhere.

Ballot box, Jury box, Cartridge box.

Obama is the one who needs “help” from a Good Samaritan. I don’t think he’s going to make it through this coming Great Depression.... If the conservatives “get on the stick” we might be able to depose him in 2012...

You said — “But, what about following the orders of someone who is not a legal superior, such as the Commander-in-Chief?”

Right there is the problem with all of what you’re saying.

This is speculation, not based upon a court of law deciding and/or affirming that this is the case. If all soldiers get to say this, based upon speculation with nothing being proven (you can say “yet”, if you wish...) in a court of law, it would be chaos in the military if that kind of “defense” was allowed for those military people to do so...

Now, having said that, there will be all sorts of people who will say, “It’s been proven!” (at least to their satisfaction, it has been). The problem is, it hasn’t been proven in the way that our society and system demands it be proven. It’s still an accusation and speculative, until it gets through the entire process of the judicial system. Until then, it’s not proven.

And so, until then, lawful orders can be issued by the Commander in Chief and there is not a defense for disobeying them (or in the chain of command) based upon the “allegation” that “he is not legally Commander in Chief”.

This is the kind of thinking that promotes the label (from other conservatives) — the Obama Derangement Syndrome — to think that one can base a “defense” on something that is not proven (in that court of law, and is upheld) and is still speculation.

Isn’t it instructional that this poster cannot seem to grasp the fundamental perspective of the military people seeking eligibility be proven? Obamanoids and blood-born liberals cannot grasp such simple concepts and must always twist the imagery to fit their demented mental condition! This poster will never grasp the simplicity because to do so would change her perspective and open her mind to ‘other’ reality.

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”

The problem is, it hasn’t been proven in the way that our society and system demands it be proven

Obama hasn't proven, in the way that our society, our system, and the Constitution demands, that he is eligible to be President, despite repeated requests to do so.

Remember, the President works for us. Obama applied for the job -- we didn't go looking for him. As any employee would do, he asked us to approve him based on his credentials.

Well, where are his credentials?

Here's an analogy:

You see your doctor complaining of headaches. Your doctor schedules you for an MRI, and the radiologist subsequently finds a tumor in your brain. You are then referrred to a brain surgeon.

While waiting in his office at the hospital, you notice that he does not have his Medical Degree posted on the wall. Curious, you ask the other doctors and nurses from where did he het his MD. Nobody knows. You ask the hospital administrator from where he got his degree. He says, "Harvard Medical Scool." You then ask him if he has ever seen his certificate. He answers, "No." You then ask him if he has ever seen any of his transcripts from Harvard. He answers, "No."

Finally, when you get to see the guy who is going to cut open your head and play Lobotomy with your brain, you ask him if you could see his Medical Degree. He turns on his computer, goes to the Daily Kos website, and says, "Here it is," pointing to a strange-looking image copy.

You let out a sigh of relief and say, "OK, Doc, I'm satisfied. Let's do it."

I've heard some really specious arguments before but, yours is as fallacious as they come.

Memo to Star Traveler:

No credentials = No job

Well, this is where people live in an “alternate universe” with the “Obama Derangement Syndrome”...

You said — “No credentials = No job”

Then the question is raised — “Why does Obama have the job now?!” This is the “reality” of the situation that certain “ones” are in “denial” about, and thus construct an “alternate universe” of thinking to pretend that it is not so...

And, in the end, no matter what “alternate universe” of thinking is employed — there is going to be only one way to rid the country of Obama as President. That is going to be the 2012 elections... That’s what is apparent to those who live in “this” universe...

Hey buddy, intended or not, it was offensive. Perhaps you don’t understand how it is easy when posting to come across far differently that one really feels. I share most of your angst at good people doing nothing for so long. Conservatives do need to stand up. And not just the elected ones. People need to realise that the days of the Silent Majority are over. They can’t just post, call, and send financial contributions. They have to organize and get out in the streets.

As for elected folks. There are things that they do that we may not agree with. We have to remember that they have far more information than we do. For instance, President wasn’t trying to make friends with Al-Sadr. That’s why we took Sadr City. The strategy worked. OBL wasn’t “allowed” to do anything. There are somethings that we are allowed to do by those whose country we are working in. You should know that as a Marine. I don’t like the situation on the Mexican border either. We can wage war and protect the border. But the states have rights and they have to ask for Federal help first. The Federal branch just can’t go in uninvited. It’s the Constitution.

I am a street activist in Los Angeles that has taken on the Lefties for years now. Not only the weekly Friday/Sunday Support the Troops/Support America rallies, but counter protests to ANSWER, and any other Lefty group that shows. One of my favorite signs that we use is “Surrender is not an option”.

Being a long time Freeper has no relavence to out discussion.

Be glad to stand with you on any street corner anytime, anywhere.

I gave up on California in 2000 after doing all I could do for that state.

I single handedly organized (and paid for much of) the Freedom '97 rally on the west steps of the state capitol where I coined the term and formed the nations first "Tyranny Response Team"...Which endures to this day in many states.

I was chosen to, and addressed the California State senate on the unconstitutionality of the Smog Check II program. I had bricks thrown at me during the prop 187 rallies by commies flying sickle and hammer flags.

I paid for out of my own pocket, for 2 and a half years, "Infomercial time" on two Alaska radio stations where listeners thought they were listening to a talk show....Aaron Zelman, Charlton Heston , Ted Nugent and others had direct access to the people listening here to help us defend freedom.

I guess you're right though...What doesn't come across in posts is that the reason I'm so angry, is that I've tried so hard....And many many others have given much more.

The fact is, I may have already stood by you on a street corner...

But I still stand by my statement, most Americans don't deserve this Lieutenant's effort.

Well, this is where people live in an “alternate universe” with the “Obama Derangement Syndrome”

The "Obama Derangement Syndrome" is a liberal Left psychosis that causes those poor souls afflicted with it to think that up is down, white is black, right is wrong, illegal alien is natural born, and Obama can tread water indefinitely.

ODS is the same "syndrome" and "twisted reality" that today produced, "Yes we can!" as that which produced, "Arbeit Macht Frei!" some seventy years ago.

The difference now is that there are too many of us who already saw the writing on the Wall well before the paint was dry. Unfortunately for those suffering from ODS, they have no idea as to what will be written next.
