Evolution debate persists because it's not science

By Raymond H. Kocot

...

But did you ever wonder why Darwinism's general theory of evolution, sometimes called macroevolution, has been debated for over 150 years without resolution? The surprising answer is Darwin's macroevolution theory is not a legitimate science. The National Academy of Sciences clearly defined science in its 1998 guidebook for science teachers. The definition begins with [stating that] science is a particular way of knowing about the world, and ends with, "Anything that can be observed or measured is amenable to scientific investigation. Explanations that cannot be based on empirical evidence are not part of science." In other words, a legitimate scientific theory (a hypothesis or idea) must be observable in real time and must be testable, yielding reproducible results. That is the core of the scientific method that has brought man out of the Dark Ages.

Because confirmable observations and generating experimental data are impossible for unique events like life's origin and macroevolution theory, world-famous evolutionary biologist Ernst Mayr prompts evolutionists to construct historical narratives to try to explain evolutionary events or processes. In other words, stories are all evolutionists can muster to support macroevolution theory. If macroevolution theory, which must rest on faith in a story and is considered to be scientific, why not the creation story. With that in mind, it is no wonder the molecules-to-man debate has persisted for 150 years...

You can blow all you want, for all I care. You brought up my Harley as unrelated information in the thread...why...? You went to my “about” page to try and dig up something scandalous and my Harley was the best you could do? So you then post a “compensator” comment that you think yours is bigger and faster? What exactly IS your point?

Uh you mentioned something about progressive and ride. I made a short comment about that any one that rode a Harley was not about progress! A one-liner. Then you went on one multi-paragraph rant after another. I was responding to your rants. If you had not gone on so many rants, I would have never posted more than my one-liner. In fact, you asked me some direct questions. If you don't like my answers, don't ask me questions.

BTW, mine will blow you away in the curves also!

In the last six months, we have had three Harley riders at our place of work go down and to the hospital; two while on the company access road. They just can't handle the twisty curves. That is three out of about 15 riders! In town, I don't know how many but there were at least two deaths. All the above were related to driver error and NONE involved another vehicle.

I could have done much worse if I had wanted to. But I didn't desire to. I take it you are a little thin-skinned when it comes to out-dated Harley technology. Why are Harley riders all about show but so thin skinned?

Your last statement shows your inner need to validate what...your size?...stature?..social value?...worldly importance?...what?

Uh, riding a Harley is all about compensation.

“Uuuuum... do you even know what the journal Nature is?”

>Yeah, its the second rate backup paper source that sits under the the JC Penny and Sears & Roebuck catalogs in the outhouse.

And the outhouse is also a backup for when outdated plumbing backs up?

I don’t think there’s anything anti-biblical about good quality indoor plumbing.

But I don't live in Ocala. I live in SOUTH Florida.

OK. My sources had you spotted frequently in Ocala.

but why be a hater? Mine doesn't backfire. Runs great!

I am not a "hater". I actually go out of my way to compliment a Harley rider that keeps his factory exhausts or at least keeps some type of muffler on his bike. It is those that run the noisy pipes and cut you off at 70 mph on the interstate that bug me. I never can understand why a Harley biker will white-line it between two cars and move into a space of about one car length and then get annoyed that the car is intruding on his 'space'!

Harley engines don’t “run great”; if you’re lucky they run at all. That long stroke 45 degree V engine was a bad design for an engine in 1920 or whenever it came out and they’ve never really fixed it.

Because people generally don't find their religious beliefs threatened by the Laws of Thermodynamics. Meanwhile, anything that points to a world older than 6,000 years gets argued about endlessly by people who refuse to accept any evidence or chain of reasoning that contradicts the Bible.

But with a single lobe crank and no distributer it made for painful riding and weird vibrations and exhaust. Which has made Harley more famous? The exhaust note or the oil leaks?

I think the V-Rod is a 60 degree V.

The Bible does NOT contradict a very very very OLD earth. Just as with evolution it is flesh that interrupts what the evidence actually means or what the Bible literally says.

IF evolutionists literally accepted what the Bible literally says they would be quoting the Bible to demonstrated credibility regarding a very very very OLD earth.

What the Bible literally says makes the claim of evolution either down through the eons of time or a quick time process null and void and without form or simply put 'confusion'.

Not argued, refuted. Refuted to ensure the record is set straight. Usually it is easily refuted because those justifications of a 6000 year old earth contain easily identified falsehoods or distortions.

Traction.

It’s why they put spikes on track shoes,

and interestingly, very similar little split lines on new all-weather tires (for which I paid about $550 at Firestone :>)

Next time I ride my Harley in the nice South Florida sun...at one point, I’ll think back to your comment and grin as the wind blows through my blonde hair and my GF’s pretty hair,

Y'all ride without a helmet? This confirms your level of intelligence. But you should really care more about your GF than that.

Here is some info from a biker site. If this were true, then racers would not wear helmets! But lets not allow facts get in the way of our agenda. You wouldn’t do that, would you?

6. It is shown that past a critical impact velocity to the helmet (approximately 13 mph), helmet use has a statistically significant effect which increases the severity of neck injuries. Thus we reject the claim that, helmets have no effect on neck injuries in favor of the claim that, past a critical impact speed, they exacerbate neck injuries.

..still laughing

nih.gov

On July 1 2000, the State of Florida exempted adult motorcyclist and moped riders from wearing helmets provided they have medical insurance of $10 000. Monthly time series of motorcycle occupant deaths are examined from 1/1994 to 12/2001. The interrupted time series analysis estimates a 48.6% increase in motorcycle occupant deaths the year after the law change.

Actually, Fichori is being quite biblical with his outhouse:

Deuteronomy 23:12-14 (King James Version)

12Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:

13And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:

14For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

Now I wonder if he eats shrimp at cocktail parties, wears wool sweaters, and/or stones the neighborhood kids when they talk back to their parents.
