What Is Science?
"Even if all the data point to an intelligent designer, such an hypothesis is excluded from science because it is not naturalistic."
Dr. Scott Todd, Kansas State University, Nature 401(6752):423, Sept. 30, 1999
What You Will Learn
Many people do not realize that science was actually developed in Christian Europe by men who assumed that God created an orderly universe. If the universe is a product of random chance or a group of gods that interfere in the universe, there is really no reason to expect order in nature. Many of the founders of the principle scientific fields, such as Bacon, Galileo, Kepler, and Newton, were believers in a recently created earth. The idea that science cannot accept a creationist perspective is a denial of scientific history...

The Adam and Eve question? I did. I’m getting bored, though—got any more?
Do you think somehow that the sciences of geology or biology or chemistry or physics are somehow changed or discredited because some theoretical physicist published some musings about the “multi-verse”?
If it is a productive hypothesis it will be embraced and expounded upon.
If it is not productive they will wonder “what was he smoking”.
That is how science works. We have a mechanism for sorting out the productive ideas from the useless ones.
Rhino, it appears you've stumbled onto the wrong website...do yourself a favor and learn up on what FR is all about, before you make yourself look even more foolish than you already have! Not that this is remotely possible.
Do you need a citation the sky is blue also?
No. But when someone says the sky is red I ask for a citation.
[[Do you need a citation the sky is blue also?]]
A peer reviewed one preferably, if it’s not ‘peer reviewed’ it’s not ‘science’
I see that you do not want both sides presented.
I do wonder at some of the handles and always supposed there was some sort of message there. Mine I thought was good advice I learned early in life. The tagline I learned a bit later, but both work for me.
Not only have I never called for removal of the religious courses, I have never proposed that they should teach both sides of the question.
So you really don’t know the difference between lie and allegory?
As for the other question, a Christian is one who follows the teachings of Jesus Christ, and tries not to be annoying to bystanders by wearing his faith out on his sleeve. I am a Christian.
Let’s see, you haven’t seen a lawsuit that’s forced creation from public schools...
then do a google...I suggest:
creation, lawsuit, public schools.
How has the earth been determined to not be at the center of the universe?
I’m asking a question that you asserted was conclusively proven by your own assertion.
[[I see that you do not want both sides presented. ]]
Both sides are fien as long as the other side isn’t rife with assinine bleeting points from the far left that have NO basis in reality
How do you think that creation was forced out of the schools to begin with? If it wasn’t direct lawsuits, it was the threat of them. Lawsuits are the evoatheists knee jerk reaction to anything that hints of intelligence in the classroom.
Do you know of schools where creation is taught and it is not illegal to teach it? Where’s that?

What about assinine bleeting points from the far right taht have NO basis in reality?
There are quite a few of the belligerently uninformed here!
I've already posted one that requires it.
