Any Republican Congressman or Senator who votes for any form of Marxist enabling Porkulus is a traitor who deserves to be run out of office!! In days gone by, they would've been tarred, feathered and run out of Washington on a rail!!
Porkulus is nothing more than a bloodless coup attempt by the America-hating Marxist, B. Hussein Obama. Massive government spending is not freedom. Government control of industry is not freedom. Government attempting to control the economy is not freedom. Not capitalism. This is socialism, fascism, Marxism. Centralized control. Nationalization of banking. Government control of banking, finance, manufacturing, production, transportation, distribution of goods and services is textbook socialism. It's the end of free market capitalism in America. But whatever you call it, socialism, Marxism, fascism, etc, it's not freedom, it's totalitarianism!
Any Republican who votes to enable this unAmerican, anti-freedom, Marxist totalitarianism joins the America-hating, freedom-hating, capitalism-hating Marxist left in its overthrow attempt. This is not patriotism! Not republicanism! Not democracy! It's treason!
This criminal theft our our money and our rights will not be stopped by sending “republicans” to Washington. Millions of armed citizens—patriots—are going to have to march on Washington, throw out 535 + 2 + 9 and begin again. Until that day arrives, we can uselessly sit and write sad posts and comments for the next 4 years...or until all conservative sites are banned “for the greater good.” But it will take a second American revolution to regain our nation and our rights.
She beckons us over to her, placing her hands upon our shoulders,

Lady Liberty trained many of her sons to protect her from the evil of communism. Those of us who answered her calling learned those lessons well. She asked us to take an Oath to forever more protect this great land, that Oath has no expiration date.
The Land Of Liberty, Justice, and Freedom for all has been kidnapped. Traitors of all sorts and creeds hold the killing knife to her throat, as they rape and destroy all that she holds dear…
Fellow Patriots, the system has been usurped. Democracy has reached that fatal plateau where the evil of ignorance, greed, and power seeking has destroyed it’s value to a Democratic Republic.
Allegiance to that Oath will soon demand a return to it’s principles. May God, and Lady liberty forgive us for allowing that evil to conquer this Land. May God give us the strength to do what is necessary to correct this falling…

Why are battled-hardened veterans doing in Iraq building schools? Come on Gen. Petreaus don't leave them there! They will get in trouble with women.
Since the Democrats are apparently monolithic in their socialism and thus already beyond the pale, that is as good a litmus test as one will ever need, and I agree with it without hesitation. There isn't any need to define anything down, play the games of situational ethics, or endure any more political camouflage. Up or down, on or off, go or no-go.

I am afraid you might well be right.
Our Founding Fathers pledged their Lives and Their Fortunes and Their Sacred Honor to insure Liberty for us. And for most of them, in the eyes of their fellow Englishmen back in England, they lost their honor in revolting against a lawful king....and most of the signers of the DEC of IND. lost their property and some their lives.
I propose we only risk our retirement money and our precious credit rating ( the sacred honor of 21st century Americans )by repudiating all debt to the banks and other companies who take this money. It would deliver real pain to the thieves. And in my opinion if even a hint of Debt Repudiation raised it's head this bill would die.
That would be a real 21st century revolution. Not some fantasy football march on Washington. Any takers?
I would be happy to sign a petition along with all freepers, and send it to senators who are expected to vote yes.
Look what IS happening in Minnesota. LuVerne truck parts, made for years in LuVerne, Minnesota, are now made in South Dakota. This week yet another Minnesota company announced they are relocating to another state. Why? The Minnesota Democratic Legislature keeps raising taxes.
And they keep getting elected, either legally or through fraud that they get away with.

The democrats that vote for it are also traitors, and need to be removed from office the next time up.
Can our “conservative” Republican senate leadership not do something to prevent “our side” from voting with the enemy?
Or is Mitch McConnell just unwilling to force unanimity?

What Hugo and Pelosi have learned is they can win and do so easily, a couple of republicans can be bought and stay bought. I do see inflation, terrorist attacks without reprisal and a economy that is going to tank. I don't know how to really prepare for what is coming.
The Obama team is running non-stop ads here in Columbus, Ohio, imploring Voinovich to vote for the stimulus package. The ad is asking voters to call his office and tell them they support the stimulus. The ad ends with a woman’s voice saying, “Senator Voinovich, don’t let us down.” ( LOL, when has Voinovich ever let a Democrat down?)
The only thing that will save us is a full blown world wide depression.
Every stimulus bill will only make it worse.

Amen. We are at the cross roads & that’s what needs to be made clear. That’s what our letters to editors need to refute. On the newscrawl I’m seeing now it says: Obama and Senate Republicans bicker over stimulus. We need to make it clear to evey media: This is a fight for the Republic! This is not “bickering.” This is not a sports match — your team wins, my team wins. This is a fight for freedom, Liberty and the American way.
