Edited on 02/07/2009 10:50:10 AM PST by Jim Robinson. [history]

Over a trillion dollars of pork! Marxist/socialist big government boondoggle pork!! All of it debt. Over a trillion dollars of new back-breaking debt on top of the trillions of dollars we're already on the hook for!! On top of the trillions of dollars of unfunded social security and medicare debt that is coming due. And this is just the down payment.

It cannot and will not work. Yes, if we allow them to go down this road it WILL be bigger than the Great Depression. They'll continue pouring trillions down the bottomless socialist RAT hole until the country is bankrupt, until the entire world is bankrupt!!

Our country will not survive all out Marxism once it takes hold. Our two centuries of freedom will be ended by out of control big government Marxist/socialist control freaks!!

Get on the phone. Get on the fax. Send emails. Visit their offices. Protest in every city of the land. Do not allow the Democrats to wipe out our freedom!!

But, right now there are four senators that should be targeted. Three of them are Republicans. Concentrate your fire on Collins, Snowe and Specter!! These three weak-kneed RINOs deserve to hear from each and every American citizen whose freedom depends on defeating this Marxist Porkulus bill which threatens to overthrow our freedom. Make no mistake about it, this IS a Marxist Coup D'état!!

These three Republican senators can stop this thing if they would only hold the line and vote NO with the rest of the Republicans. And at least one Democrat is worth targeting. Feinstein is weak on the Democrat side. Call them. Call them again. Email them. Fax them. Visit their offices!! Protest outside their offices. Reverse it now while we can!!

Use your freedom of speech while you have it.

Porkulus is only their first strike. Robbing us of our first amendment protections through the fairness doctrine is the second. Opening the floodgates of immigration (new socialist Democrat voters via amnesty) is the third. Massive voter fraud via ACORN (which Porkulus funds) ensures one party Democrat rule forever. And finally, a massive gun grab will ensure they are never tossed out via the final recourse provided us by the Founding Fathers.

So they think.

Keep your powder dry.

Here’s the RAT seats up for reelection in 2010. They would seem to be most vulnerable if there is a backlash against the Marzist policies fo this RAT administration. Most vulnerable would seem to be Lincoln, Salazar, Dorgan, Wyden and possibly Murray and Obama’s replacement.

Lincoln D-AR
Boxer D-CA
Salazar D-CO
Dodd D-CT
Inouye D-HI
Obama D-IL
Bayh D-IN
Mikulski D-MD
Reid D-NV
Schumer D-NY
Dorgan D-ND
Wyden D-OR
Leahy D-VT
Murray D-WA
Feingold D-WI

I am completely in agreement with you. These RINO’s 3 are worthless. I will do what I can to ensure that at least one of them is NOT re-elected. Sound the bells and let’s hit them hard. This Volunteer is fightin’ mad.

I would include most of the true Red states. I am from TN and I can tell you that we abhor taxes and we detest the Liberals who run our government. I am getting a feeling that there is unrest about to happen...besides, after this last election, you can take Florida and North Carolina off of the Red list...they helped to give us Obama.

I want to pose the most frequent questions asked by those who harbor the idea that Obama is NOT a Marxist socialist and that he does NOT intend to dismantle the Constitution or impose a permanent tyrannical Presidency.

I further realize that for reasonable, sensible American conservatives, that they see my contention as utterly absurd or preposterous and perhaps incendiary. Thus they dismiss my assertions as the musings of a madman or a lunatic, that I have an ax to grind or that I am simply an alarmist.

So let me ask the 10 questions that you skeptics might pose to me to tear down my argument and let me offer up answers to these 10 questions that may eventually convince you of first of my honorable intentions and secondly the veracity of my troublesome concern.

#1 Q: If Obama is a Marxist why are there so many ‘legitimate’cabinet members, economists and exports rallying to Obama’s cause to promote Obama’s agenda?

A: Cabinet members, economists and experts work for those who hire them and are willing to pay them for their advice. Some are strong backers of Obama or followers who work for government to advance their leader’s agenda. Let’s be rational. One of the first rules of rationality is to avoid generalizing to come to a specific conclusion. Some work for Obama to curry favor in order to enhance their credibility and to advance their future careers regardless of political affiliation. Some are civil servants who are compelled to work for ‘their new master’; some are professors who work for Obama to enhance their standing in the academic community, while others have bills to meet and alimony to pay and need a job to keep their head above water. In other words there are many reasons why people decide to work in government.

From Obama’s point of view he is going to hire people that will help him get from point A to point B in the most efficient way possible regardless of political philosophy. Of course his closest advisors will be the ones most aligned with his personal philosophy.

And finally for you to ask the question provides you the answer why Obama would surround himself with these types.

#2 Q: Barack Obama is an American. He took the oath to defend the Constitution. He can’t be a Marxist or a radical socialist. Poll after poll show that a majority of Americans do not believe in socialism.

A: Let’s take Ronald Reagan. I would venture to guess during his Hollywood days before he married Nancy he hung around more liberals than conservatives. It is not surprising that Reagan was a Democrat when he was part of the Hollywood community. After he married Nancy, got older and drifted away from Hollywood he began to associate with more conservative types and eventually in 1962 became a Republican. Reagan is not revered by the GOP for his associations with Hollywood but for his life after 1962.
I would even venture to say that Reagan would be long forgotten by conservatives under 60 if it were not for his conversion.

Now let’s take Obama. Obama has never underwent a political conversion. From his childhood-his father and mother were both at best socialists and at worst Marxists-Obama was surrounded by radical ideas and beliefs. Read his memoirs, look at his associations with Ayres, Wright, and khalidi, that he worked as a community organizer, that he was a member of a socialist party in the 1990’s, worked as a community organizer, the role that Saul Alinsky envisioned as they key to grassroots organizing and radicalizing American society, and his words on You Tube regarding redistribution of wealth and its glaring omission (according to him) from the Constitution. Never has Obama disavowed any thing he has been taught of a radical nature. The proof is in the pudding. If you voted for Obama to impose a socialist agenda on America, you know Obama is your man; but for those who voted for Obama because you thought he would be your standard liberal beltway politician I will say one thing to you-do the research; don’t believe me or the media. Do your own research. Birds of a feather flock together.

#3 The American government with its separation of powers and the powers devolved to the 50 states would prevent this from occurring.

A: Tell that to the various states who are begging for bailout money and only will get it if they only fully agree to Obama’s terms. For example Haley Barbour today mentioned that the stimulus money set aside to help the unemployed in each state will only be distributed to a state if it changes its unemployment and employment laws to conform to what Obama demands.

As to legislators Obama already has the Democrats (even the Blue Dogs) locked up. Sure not all Democratic Congressmen and Senators are Marxists but give it two more election cycles with Obama firmly in control of the party (through his paid party hacks)he will be able to replace the more moderate Dems with the more radical typ es.

As for those who think the Supreme Court would prevent a Marxist takeover of government, why was there no decision to hear the various cases brought before the court to determine whether Obama was a ‘natural-born’ citizen? What is to prevent Obama from appointing the most Leftist judges when he is given the opportunity?

I know the argument will be made that the GOP in Congress would prevent this from happening. This presumes that ACORN does not fix Congressional elections as well and further minimize Republican numbers. Does anyone out there really think that ACORN is acting independently and not dedicated to Obama’s goal of imposing a one-party state?

#4 Q: But the Constitution would prevent him from imposing his will on America?

A: On the surface it would. But one of the most overlooked provisions of the Constitution is that if 34 states vote for it a Constitutional Convention can be called to completely rewrite the Constitution. Guess who would have his hands on the complete process if this could be pulled off!

Now let’s say Obama can’t pull this off he could resort to the most common way of changing the Constittion by getting 2/3 support in the House and Senate and 34 states to go along. As for the states Barbour has given us an indication of how he would make them toe the line; as for Congress again we go back to ACORN. Once entrenched with George Soros backed money and from unlimited funds overseas (of course it supposedly is illegal) he will be able to blanket each Congressional district and state with hundreds of thousands of Acornites to foment voter chaos by stuffing the ballot boxes. For those more conservative districts he would have a more difficult time but nothing is impossible for Obama. Bribery, corruption, gerrymandering—nothing is impossible for Obama. And he always has ACORN or state cronies to fall back on. And finally he could legalize the millions of illegal immigrants and force them to move to conservative districts or states to make them more Obama-friendly.

#5 Q: But to impose a one-party state wouldn’t he have to abolish elections?

A: Yes, he might go that route. But he might leave that alone by orchestrating the repeal of the 22nd Amendment (limit of 2 terms as President). Then ACORN would guarantee he would win every election until he died in his 80’s. Does Castro come to mind?

#6 Q: Why do you say that Obama would be tyrannical?

A: Because his goal is to stifle dissent. Why would the Democrats be for the reimposition of the Fairness Doctrine to stifle right-wing talk radio? His agenda would stifle individual enterprise and make those dependent on the government capable of doing anything, including informing on their neighbors to keep government favor. And remember Obama during the campaign purposed the creation of a civilian national security force or citizens’ army; what do think the army will be used for-to fight natural disasters. Get a life: they will be the 21st century version of the Brownshirts in Nazi Germany.

#7: Q: But certainly someone would stop Obama. After all, America is a rational nation, a nation of laws, individual liberty, Disneyland, Yellowstone National Park, motherhood and apple pie. Saner heads will prevail. The media would report this.

A: Tell that to the German Jews or dissenters between 1933 and 1945 in Germany who were told by pundits that Germany was a nation steeped in the arts, culture, good music and order. The German people would never allow Hitler to implement his full agenda. How did that work out?

As for the media they are now in tank for Obama. What makes you think that they are about tho change their horse in midstream? They know which side their bread is buttered on.

#8 Q: But American politics work in cycles. Obama will eventually wear out his welcome and he will be defeated, isn’t that the way it’s worked since WWII?

A: On the surface you’re right. But Obama is no ordinary politiician and his backers are some of the most cunning, sinsiter and nefarious characters ever to have worked in American politics. They will use any means possible to keep Obama in power. Citizens complain that Obama sounds like he is running for re-election in his latest speech. The truth of the matter is that he is. What do you think $5B will buy in 2012? Absolute power, perhaps!

#9 Q: What’s to stop the GOP from raising boatloads of money as well?

A: The demise of capitalism and capitalists. If the government is the only entity that has any substantial money and the capitalists the GOP now look to for donations and fundraising are all broke in the future or permanently have transferred their loyalty to Obama . How could Obama do this? Tax business and the rich to death. Confiscate their wealth. Gut them. Drain the swamp. Pass laws from preventing anybody who makes over a certain income from donating to individual candidates and restrict them to a ridiculous low amount of how much they can donate to a political party.

#10 Q: Why would Obama want to do this to America?

A: Because he and his wife Michelle literally hates America as conceived by the Founding Fathers, are obsessed with Alinsky’s view of imposing a radical socialist regime and are egomaniacs, utterly cold-blooded and ruthless and if they could would arrest Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin and send them to Gitmo to be executed they would.

Now you skeptics, have I have made my case? Walk away from my answers but be warned if you do—I will defend your right to oppose my views but if I am not around I have one final question: Do you think Obama will also defend your right to oppose him?

I’ve always been concerned that the Muslim enclave on the East River has been driving this new world order or whatever they’re calling it today. Slick and the Bushes were in tow with this ideology and they loved the open border. Note crater-mouth boxer’s screeches today. We can stop this movement in its path but we must follow the Saul Alinsky Marxist/Socialist path that obama and the left are pushing. We just have to push back relentlessly and never back down!

Happy to help. Don’t get me wrong, I believe in Republican Democracy, but when the wrong individuals that seek to willfully destroy the Republic with their actions in power, it shouldn’t be a mutual suicide pact. The tree of liberty must be refreshed with the blood of patriots and tyrants every so often. The overwhelmingly majority of the public has made their voice clear, they oppose this Porkulus abomination, and the elected majority is disregarding our will, and that must be corrected by any means necessary.

***Yes, it really did help. I think of our brave military and know they are strong. The civilians, not so much. I just can’t get it straight in my head how so many just DON’T GET IT! I pray to God if the time comes, I’ll be ready.***

Anybody now wonder why I am obsessed with ‘white guilt’ and why I believed before the election that it had the potency to cause enough people to vote irrationally, against their best interests, and cause the downfall of the greatest nation that ever existed in the world.

I worry about our military, because since after LBJ, all the Dems elected since have endeavored mightily to undermine them. A former classmate of mine served in the Navy at the start of the Clinton Administration and he said it was a bad time to serve and the morale plunged off a cliff and was quite anxious to get out as a result. Most of us concede this current administration has even more contempt for military and law & order than Bubba, and one wonders just how many people this unqualified idiot is going to get killed.

As for so many that don't get it, part of it is the failure (deliberate) of the media and pop culture worshipping the False Messiah above Jesus, but I think it is trickling out that this man does not have this country's best interests in mind. But, unfortunately, that won't be enough to stop whatever he chooses to do for the forseeable future. It's sad we didn't have a decent and motivating candidate for President last year. The media chose the GOP candidate, too, but for the purposes of losing. Mission accomplished. We may have lost the battle, but the war ain't over yet.

Biden is probably the only old-style Democrat left in Washington. He’s assuming there will be an election in 2010 and that ACORN isn’t going to fix the election. Biden, this is one time I wish you were right.

I’ve been calling their offices and in fact Feingold’s office told me they have been getting a lot of irate calls. I don’t care if you live in Mass. - CALL, FAX, AND SNAIL MAIL by Priority Mail. I understand exactly what you are saying. Our son was a Marine Reservist (crew chief) during the Gulf War, came home safe and sound, finished college while toying around for a few years trying to decide if he wanted to make the Marines a career. Anyway, when he saw Bubba Clinton get elected that changed his mind. It breaks my heart to know that our military have to salute this POS.

Yeah, we may have lost the battle but it’s the war that scares the bejeebers out of me.

It really doesn’t take a whole lot to undermine the morale of our military, especially when a radical administration takes over. I expect there may be a strong push to do away with current policy with respect to homosexuals and allow them to serve in an open capacity. That would literally be the death blow to destroying unit cohesion.

I had considered possible military (likely Naval) service (father was in the Navy, uncle in the Air Force, grandfather in the Army (WW2), other grandfather in the British Army (WW1), ggg grandfather served under Andrew Jackson in the Creek Campaign & Battle of New Orleans, and another, a Hessian mercenary hired by the British in the Revolution, an eclectic group), but I’d have been entering at the start of Clinton’s term, and being very politically aware in my teens far above my peers, I knew exactly what he was going to do with the military, and so I was disavowed of any notion of entering.

It really is true now that only Republican administrations have the most remote respect for the military (and why so many Democrats often seek to disenfranchise military voters, because they know which way they vote). But I do believe the False Messiah will attempt to cripple our military. He’d probably prefer to create his own personal army (with tougher standards, of course), exclusively loyal to him, as we’ve seen in many Third-World countries. Scary stuff.

The questions I have for anybody in the military is could Obama change the law to make the military personally loyal to him and with millions of guns in the hands of private citizens what is the chance that Obama could pass legislation outlawing the sales of ammunition to any private party and thus defang gun owners?
