Obama Remarks on Economic Stimulus Plan (Live)
Fox News
Posted on 02/05/2009 5:33:42 PM PST by KJC1
Live on Fox News now.
He started out with lame jokes about how this appearance gave him an excuse to use Air Force One, and something about someone teaching profanity to underprivileged children.
And more blather.
Just thought I'd start a thread on this live appearance.

“Paraphrase: Of all the states Ive visited the one I missed was Alaska...pause for negative laughter.”
I watched the whole thing and heard him say that too. What an immature punk. One of the blessing of living up here in Alaska is that we didn’t have to play host to Obama.

Honestly, his eyes were crazed.

CNN pundits are saying this will kill any chances of GOP support. Extremely partisan speech. Personalizing debate. And this from CNN!

You could be right, he probably never bothered to read a single bill, just voted however his advisers told him to vote.

This guy inspires ZERO confidence, I am preparing right now to totally downscale my life because of the economic situation.Everyone I talk to is tightening their belts and do not plan on spending any money because we are all terrified at these idiots in Congress who are hell bent on destroying the economy.
Obama is starting off worse than I thought would be possible, it is a matter of time until the media, not all,but a good part will turn on him.

The dems are on a taxpayer retreat at some famous spa.
Aren’t you impressed, considering his grandstanding against the banking execs.
Supposedly cost over $100,000

This was a classic. Dean Martin would have a martini for this.

“Why is he addressing the country Monday night? Will he give the same speech we heard tonight?? “
Perhaps he will give a “no stimulus, no peace” speech, a signal to his minions to start rattling their sabres.

We said the same while watching him go off for the cameras. Mr. Hope & Change has become Mr. Gloom & Doom....

Supposedly this wasn't supposed to be televised. I suspect they planned for it to be televised at least 24 hours ago because he sees his spending extravaganza in trouble with Americans.
I have to say, he did a masterful job of giving another campaign speech tonight. He'll ramp it up again on Monday night and speak directly to the people. He'll do a good job then too of making people think he's all about their pain...and will fix it. Sadly....it will work with our current deluded electorate.
To: KJC1
Wow, he seems mens-trual ...
Maybe it's time I call up my brother and ask him if he's still happy he voted for this guy.
