The Early Bird Gets the Just-So Story (Darwinian thinking in action)
CEH ^ | February 3, 2009

Feb 03, 2009 — If a catastrophic world event wiped out the dinosaurs, why did birds survive? They’re smaller and more delicate, it seems. National Geographic published a new hypothesis: they out-thought the doomed dinosaurs...

The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese . . . (Darwin circa 18—)

The flood dummies the FLOOD!! Geesh, anything to go against a “creator” that is higher than any other power. Things have not changed since the beginning of time....

Cockroaches are small and delicate also.

Stuff like this is an embarrassment to Conservatives.

These explanations are always humorous and always the same. An animal type survived because it was perfectly suited to the conditions, thus supporting survival of the fittest. The supporting evidence for the hypothesis is that animal types survive because they are more fit, and because it survived, it must be more fit.

Its really a circular argument that can justify almost any hypothesis concerning evolution.

The Giraffe evolved a long neck because it gave them an advantage. Proof? Well it has a long neck and its still here.

Of course, it could be that the giraffe had a run away genetic disorder that just wasn't harmful enough to take it in extinction.

“....motivate paleontologists to look harder and farther to find more fossils.”

More of our money down the drain.

That’s the great thing about science; you can take facts and evidence and use them to postulate hypotheses and to publish them. They can be critiqued, reviewed and amended as new evidence and facts come to light. It’s the creationists who think they know all the answers and just work back from there ignoring or bending any evidence that doesn’t fit.

National Geographic ended the article with, “As well as providing valuable new evidence for the evolution of birds... the latest study offers an intriguing new theory that will motivate paleontologists to look harder and farther to find more fossils.” They desperately need more fossils, the lead author said. “We can only get so close to understanding the brains of the earliest birds with the sample of known species currently available.”

So much material, so little time......

Uhhhh speaking of amendments:

That’s the great thing about science; you can fake facts and evidence and use them to postulate hypotheses and ram them into pretzels in such a way to support your cult and then project this behavior onto your opponents when they point all this out to the public.

Evolution, to global warming...works like a charm!

Actually, it’s never tolerated when they’re critiqued (evolution and global warming), and it’s ALWAYS going to be amended as new criticisms and evidence come to light.

ANY criticism of evolution is met with a barrage of insults and rhetoric such as “that’s not science” and/or “that’s religious” and/or “that’s anti-science”.

There simply is no such thing as serious peer review of the cult of evolution and only cultists are incapable of seeing this fact.

Sure, it’s all fake, LOL! The biggest conspiracy ever. Millions of scientists all working on the inside for decades. All the evidence is false, they knock it up in workshops and labs and then plant it inside genomes or deep inside the earth. It’s incredible the lengths these people will go to I tell you!!

Well yes, global warming pretty much IS a conspiracy the way it’s presented as manmade and the algoreacle needs your money/carbon credits etc. so he and his minions can fly around in jets and give lectures, you know when they’re not cancelled due to ice storms.

As far as evolution, yup, I’m afraid so. They really have had to plant fossils and so on.

Most people are painfully aware of this.

I’m shocked that the fossil record, the millions of items stored across the world’s museums are mere fakes. The genetic evidence being faked is even more of a worry. Next you’ll tell me that plate tectonics is all part of the same conspiracy. Very worrying.

Even more shocking is that you’ve abandoned all reason and just let algoreacle’s hot air cult go completely with a free pass and ignore that indeed fossils have been planted...jumping to the conclusion that anyone has remotely asserted ALL THE MILLIONS of fossils are fakes to hide your utter embarassments.

All the hallmarks of a cult.

Good luck with that!
