The Kennedy family is seeking revenge against New York Gov. David Paterson for his treatment of Caroline Kennedy during her aborted bid for the senate seat vacated by Hillary Clinton, the New York Post reported
"The governor's going to pay for this," a prominent Democrat told the New York Post. "Ted is furious. The family is furious. The Kennedys are now against the governor."

Don’t forget her qualifications! Her maiden name is “Kennedy”! She raised some kids and had a couple books published. Isn’t that enough to be a Senator nowadays?
She’s suffered many personal losses in her life, and I feel a sense of compassion for her because of that. I feel sorry for her now because someone put her up to this. It’s like she was taking orders.

Chicago was partially responsible. Texas did its part, too, as I recall. Duval County, in particular.
Probably a later start to, and lower emphasis on, the space program -- but, after Sputnik, it still would've gone forward toward the moon. And there'd have been no missiles in Cuba, since Castro would probably have been ousted after the Bay of Pigs.
