So much for his ill-deserved reputation as the smartest guy in the world…Obama can no longer vote “present” as in the Illinois Senate, or rarely vote as in the U.S. Senate, and the GITMO closure, his first big decision, is being seen as “stupid” by 58 percent of Americans.

The Gitmo Gang he doesn’t know what to do with because he painted himself in a corner, giving them citizens’ rights, applying new definitions of torture, therfore effecting evidence obatined by previously legal methods. Now he is faced with bringing these folks onto American soil for trial and possibly having to release them here.
These guys have to redeem themselves becuase they spilled their guts. They can’t go home. The WANT to be “martyred”, go out with a bang. How do you think they will do that if Hussein releases them?
I say send these turncoats back to their people and let them deal with it expediently.

So far, not one state with a supermax and not one base with a secure brig will accept these terrorists. Any Senator, like Graham, who is so far mum on his opinion, who tries to get his own state to accept them is going to be committing political suicide. No foreign country is keen on taking them, either.
I predict that even a small attack is going to reopen the waterboarding issue, as well.

They got up and declared yesterday that this decision would make America safer.
