The Gitmo Gang he doesn’t know what to do with because he painted himself in a corner, giving them citizens’ rights, applying new definitions of torture, therfore effecting evidence obatined by previously legal methods. Now he is faced with bringing these folks onto American soil for trial and possibly having to release them here.

These guys have to redeem themselves becuase they spilled their guts. They can’t go home. The WANT to be “martyred”, go out with a bang. How do you think they will do that if Hussein releases them?

I say send these turncoats back to their people and let them deal with it expediently.

What an absolute fool Obama is. I'm sure the release of any of these men in country will try to be done without any press coverage. The media may actually go along with this, since most of them agree with his policy. The first act of terrorism by a released detainee will incite such hatred for the administration and for the assistant media that we may actually see a civil war in our time.

I guess I just don't understand why closing Gitmo is such a high priority. What is the issue with it? Move it to another offshore location with a different name ... what does that accomplish? Or is it that we want a new policy whereby we take no prisoners? If it is a question of how we're proceeding there, why not just look into the policies and determine what needs to be changed/corrected? I must be missing something enormous since so many folks have it as their rallying cry.

I say put them all on a boat to the US and about 5 miles off shore, sink the boat. They outlived theie usefulness. We got every piece of intelligence information from them that we could.

According to the Geneva Convention, because they did not wear the uniform of a country, they have no rights. Let’s follow the rule book.

This I agree with. It's the only option if he's h*llbent on closing Gitmo.
