Coverage of the balls on Fox News.
Her dress looks like a wedding cake turned sour.
It wouldn't have been chenille.
There’s only one way to fix this fashion boo boo ...
BURKHA!!
Talk about a fashion icon — Cindy McCain!
Ann Romney — Just beautiful!
Sarah Palin — Classy professional!
Should come as no surprise that I am not the fashion plate in the family. :)
pretty pretty pretty. There’s no one like her on the scene today.
There, I think that's more like it. (I really do think Carolyn looks like the Kenned men)
I skipped a word...glad you knew what I meant.
Most excellent, ladies!
Most excellent, ladies!
very very true...
Ugh it looks like her shoulder is in a sling! Did she separate it hauling that couch to the sewing machine to make her swearing in dress?
And does she EVER not have a smug look on her face?
Let me add that Laura Bush was VERY admirable. I look to her example on this bleak day. I really admired her.
Absolutely!
That was my first thought.
....Since evolved into chenille bedspread with maxipad accessory.
LOL...can anyone imagine the media response to a Sarah Palin gown? Why (if he designed it) Jimmy Wu would now be subject to background checks; his kindergarten art teacher would be found and interrogated; the supplier of the fabric, the thread and each bead would be summoned before Katie Couric to explain who ‘paid’ for each dress component. CNN would run a ticker on the dress; Chrissy Matthews would demand a Congressional Sub Committee be assembled to address ‘GownGate.’
And so it goes...
Count me in, ladies!
Meow!!
Caroline Kennedy...
Fashion died since and so did decorum!
60s used to be "old" but not now. At 47 I'm no spring chicken, but I remember they days when there were grownups. Check out the people in the pic with Jackie in that pink gown. I miss that.
Surely there is a ball tonight with some 75-year olds? There's got to be one serious old-timey Ball. I guess they would have been there by now, it's getting late. Oh yeah. Change. (sniff)
For me the one woman who over the past 8 years I always thought had the best taste in dressing was Condoleezza Rice. I don't think in all that time I ever disliked anything she wore. I also loved the white suite Mrs Bush wore during the '04 inauguration.
