Why (if he designed it) Jimmy Wu would now be subject to background checks; his kindergarten art teacher would be found and interrogated; the supplier of the fabric, the thread and each bead would be summoned before Katie Couric to explain who ‘paid’ for each dress component. CNN would run a ticker on the dress; Chrissy Matthews would demand a Congressional Sub Committee be assembled to address ‘GownGate.’

If Sarah Palin wore these clothes, she'd be made fun of. Absolutely no one on tv that I know of is making fun of Michelle's dresses.
