This Final Prayer Thread for our President is Posted in Honor of our Beloved Alpha-8-25-02, and his Beautiful and Precious Bride. May Every Mercy of Heaven be with you, Dearest Family in Jesus Christ. My Brother-Pastor, your Service to the King Here Among us has been a Great Blessing to our Hearts. Only in Eternity will we Know the Scope of your Spurgeon Ministry, and All our Savior Accomplished through it. My Cherished Sister, Thank you for Posting the Spurgeon Devotionals Daily in the Religion Section while our Pastor is ill. No Words are Adequate to Describe the Saint's Gratitude to you Both; we just Love you Very, Very Dearly.

Dear Father our King,

Our Hearts are Filled with Your Praise, as we Gather Together to Exalt Your Sweet Name. Your Goodness to us is our Greatest Joy, and Your Grace Gives us Strength for Every Day. You have Poured Upon us Your Favor and Gifts, Clothed us with Christ, and Set us on High. Thank You, our Master, for Freeing us from Sin; we Sing Praise to the God of Sovereign Grace.

Our God Most Merciful, we Praise You for our Brother-President, with Love. What a Wonderful Eight Years this has Been, our Lord of Grace. Thank You, Father, for Granting this Good Man to us. How we Praise You for his Leadership, Character and Strength! Thank you for the Beautiful Spiritual Fruit You Produce in his Life. To have a Godly Man in the White House has Been a Priceless Gift. We Ask that You will Bless him through All the Years of his Life. May Everyone he Loves Come to Know and Trust in Thee. Please Continue to Work through him Daily, Loving Lord. May he Always Honor You, our Magnificent, Eternal God.

We Lift our Military to You, Caring Lord; Please Keep them Always Empowered and Safe. Our Lord of Compassionate Grace, Thank You for Each and Every Life. How we Love You for Gifting us with these Courageous Men. May Your Hand be Over them for All Blessing and Good. Above All Else, May Christ Fill Every Heart. Please Grant them Great Victories, our Mighty Warrior-King. Please Guard them by Day, and Refresh them by Night. We Worship You, Dear Father of Everlasting, Great Love.

We Plead, Your Majesty, for Your Protection for our USA. Please Hinder the Iniquity the Obama Administration has Planned. May their Coming Battle Against All Righteousness End in their Defeat. Please Raise Up Roadblocks, Lord, whenever and wherever You Will. Help us, our God; Rescue us and have Mercy Upon our Land.

We Praise You, Abba-Father, and Give Glory to Your Dear Son. Please Bless Everyone who has Prayed Here throughout the Years. In All our Lives, May our Jesus Shine Like the Sun.

Thank You, our Faithful God, for Hearing and Answering our Prayers. In Jesus' Name, for the Glory of Heaven's King, amen.

Dear Lord, thank you for President Bush protecting our country from further terrorist harm since 9/11, for putting Justices Roberts and Alito on the Supreme Court, and for many other good deeds.

And now, please protect our great nation from the Democrats.

Amen.

Heavenly Father, bless George Bush and his family and associates. They have earnt rest, and we shall miss them.

Please protect America from the dark forces that now stand in the place of authority. May the unborn be saved from the new Herod.

Invade the hearts of these men and women who now rule America: we claim them for Christ. May they repent of their deeds and turn to thee.

Protocol
Let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. —James 1:6

If you were invited to a meeting at the White House with the President of the United States, regardless of your opinion of him or her, you would probably go. Upon entering the White House, a protocol officer would meet you and outline the proper procedures for meeting the President. Suffice it to say, it would be unacceptable to let loose with a burst of undignified familiarity or negative criticism as you shook hands.

So it should come as no surprise that God’s Word makes it clear that there is a protocol for entering the presence of God. Hebrews 11:6 outlines one aspect of appropriate interaction: “He who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” God wants us to be fully devoted to Him—and He takes it personally when our hearts are filled with criticism, unbelief, and doubt.

James tells us that when we ask God for wisdom, the key to His response is whether or not we are asking “in faith” (1:6). God is pleased when we approach Him with unwavering faith.

So leave your doubt at the door and follow the protocol: Approach God with a heart of faith, and He will be pleased to provide all the wisdom you need.

God, give me the faith of a little child!
A faith that will look to Thee—
That never will falter and never fail,
But follow Thee trustingly. —Showerman

Exchange the dissatisfaction of doubt for the fulfillment of faith in God.

Gracious Heavenly Father,
We adore You and worship only You on this bittersweet day. We have gone through and seen so much in the past 8 years, and have known and felt Your presence in unspeakable ways.

I ask that You would continue to be with those who have prayed with us on these threads throughout this time. My mind thinks of some sweet people we have lost along the way. Our beloved Kayak, “Whoever”, LadyX, and others who are now in Your presence and who have contributed so much to this thread through the years were special blessings to us all. Give each of them a special hug from their Freeper brothers and sisters down here in this world, and tell them thank you for us. For the Robinsons and the Admin Moderators who have so diligently provided use of this forum and protected this thread, I pray a special blessing. To the prayer leaders who picked up what I started as Dittojed back in 2000 and have been such a blessing each and every day, I know there is a special reward for their labor of love. And to the lurkers who may not have prayed publically but were with us in spirit, I again pray Your richest blessings upon them all.

I lift up our military and defense personnel. Their job will be even harder in the Obama administration. May You protect them and grace them with Your presence as they serve to protect us.

I pray for Israel. Her standing with our government will not be the same as it was. Bless her, Lord. And remember, if our government turns its back on her, there are those who will always love and support her.

I pray each member of the Bush administration - for the Cheneys and each member of the cabinet. May they continue to be productive citizens in this society and may they each come to know You in a way that is real and brings peace.

And finally Lord, I thank You for and pray for our beloved President Bush and his wonderful wife, our first lady, Laura. Protect them wherever they go. Shower Your love upon them. Give them a well deserved rest. And, may both of them know Christ’s love, joy, and presence in every aspect of their lives. May they grow old with the peace of knowing that they had a tough job and they served well. May their daughters and their family always bring them happiness. And may You get glory out of everything that President Bush accomplished in his 8 years in office.

Go with us Lord. Be with this divided nation of ours. And we give You all of the praise, honor, glory, and worship now and forevermore.

It is in that wonderful, matchless, awesome, great, almighty, all knowing, all loving, name of my Savior, Redeemer, Deliverer, and friend Jesus, Yeshua, my Lord that I pray these things, Amen.
