What is Pepsi anyway but poor quality water, probably fluoridated, to which has been added artificial flavors and a ton of heavily processed syrup made from pesticided, chemically enhanced corn? Sounds about as refreshing as Obama’s Hope and Change.

Native Atlantans never drink Pepsi products. My mom never even bought any. It was Coke, Orange Crush, or Dr. Pepper only.

Thanks for posting the e-mail address for Ms. Nooyi (indra.nooyi@pepsi.com).
I was compelled to write the following note to her this evening:
******************************************************
Ms. Nooyi,
As a life long Pepsi fan and consumer, I felt compelled to write to you following some disturbing things that Ive noticed with your Pepsi product line. I consume between two and five 16 and 20 oz Pepsis a day; often more on the weekends. Regrettably, things have changed.
It began when I noticed a slight change to the packaging of my favorite beverage. Gone was the cool looking candy blue, replaced with a darker blue. Very masculine, very American, so I thought. This should be good, right? Well then Im thinking that Ive seen that circle before. That design
Hmmmm, it has a familiar looking red swoosh and appearance. Each day I would look at it and think to myself, youre imagining things; youre seeing something that isnt there. But I saw some things recently that validated what had been troubling me. Pepsi Co has gone in the tank for Obama!!!
I find it very troubling that you have chosen to align your corporation with an unqualified, inexperienced, smooth-talking, socialist, who doesnt have a single piece of legislation that he can attach his name to (while serving less than a full-term as a senator in an obviously corrupt State). The media has given this guy a complete pass, failing to do their work to properly vett such a rookie. And Pepsi, for whatever reason, has now decided to align itself with this socialist, who is corrupt, associated with racists and slumlords. These characteristics are hardly something Pepsi should be aligned with.
Im trying to understand why you would do this. Is it because your marketing team has determined that you dont have enough demographics in the liberal media, the extreme left, wacky and violent political activists, the Hollyweird elite, the gay community, those who endorse socialism and redistribution of wealth and income and other transient pieces of our society? I guess they dont realize that they will be alienating 50% of Americans through this pro-Obama promotion. They should carefully consider their actions before snubbing 56 million Americans who did not vote for O.
When I want to drink something or go out to eat, I do not want to be reminded of bad politics, socialism, or the fact that more of my hard-earned income is going to be used to spread the wealth.
My entire family consumes an awful lot of Pepsi products from the beverages we drink, the food we consume, to the places we eat at, and more. I hope you understand that I will no longer be buying your Pepsi products, visiting Pizza Hut or Taco Bell, or any other product or service in the future. I am truly saddened by your actions, as I truly love your products. However, I am a man of principal and will no longer support Pepsi. My family will do the same. And you can bet that Ill be letting my friends and colleagues know as well. Lord help us if Coke or RC make the same mistakes as Pepsi.
Please reconsider your position. Go back to being neutral in politics (at least as far as the average Joe the Plumber sees).

Nicely done!
Mine was sorter, but said pretty much the same thing. I don't expect for any of us to receive a reply, but I'll be watching this thread just in case.
I hope anyone who receives a reply will share it with the rest of us.

I stopped drinking Coke because it was Clinton’s soda of choice.
I’m going to have to start boycotting Pepsi now.
I think I’m just going to have to drink beer exclusively.

Pepsi WAS the only soft drink I bought. Well, its not really good for me anyway. I like a lot of the Frito-Lay products. But I don't like them enough to have my money go to Obama-worship. No more PepsiCo products for me.

Pepsi Ad Campaign: Obama Will 'Refresh Our Nation'
Pepsi is running a new advertising campaign that keys into the upcoming inauguration one that features a re-designed corporate logo that mimics the distinctive Obama O campaign logo, and refers to the president-elect as the man who is about to refresh our nation.
PepsiCos Web site -- RefreshEverything.com -- features an application allowing anyone to send a video message to the president-elect. The features explanation reads, Help us refresh America.
What you put in between [start and end] is up to you, the explanation continues. You can sing, dance, tell a jokewhatever reflects your hope and optimism for the future. Have fun with it. When your video is ready, upload it here. The best and most popular videos will be featured on this site.
The corporate giant is running ads in multiple cities and locations, including in New York Citys Times Square and in Washington, D.C., on Metro buses and subway stations.
The ads feature single words or phrases such as Optimism, Yes You Can, Together, and One for All. The re-designed Pepsi logo replaces the Os in the words on the ads, shares similarities to Obamas presidential campaign logo.
Pepsi reportedly will also be distributing samples of its product on the streets of D.C. the weekend before the inauguration, as well as scarves, hats, and buttons that say Hope and Change key Obama buzzwords from the campaign.
Pepsi-Cola North American Beverages spokeswoman Nicole Bradley told CNSNews.com that the campaign was officially launched on New Year's Eve.
The start of the new year marks a fresh start, a 'refresh' for many people, Bradley said. We felt it was the ideal time to launch our Refresh Everything campaign.
But she admitted the inauguration does fit in with the companys plans.
The inauguration is a unique moment in time when people of all ages and backgrounds are rallying around a common sense of purpose,
Bradley added.
They are embracing change and hope. We believe the positive messages of our "Refresh Everything" campaign fit perfectly with the bipartisan spirit of optimism of this event.
Robert Knight, author and media analyst, said Pepsis advertising may just be trying to capitalize on the honeymoon that Obama is currently enjoying.
I think, given the effectiveness of Obamas message, Pepsi is merely getting aboard the bandwagon and trying to capitalize on the good feeling -- that a new era of optimism has arrived, Knight told CNSNews.com.
I dont know that Pepsi is particularly interested in currying favor with the Obama administration, as much as it is conveying the notion that theyre on a winning team, he added.
But Knight noted that Pepsi products are currently being boycotted by the conservative American Family Association because of the companys donation of millions of dollars to homosexual pressure groups. Given the companys stance, PepsiCo may be willing to flout those who didnt vote for Obama, he added.
If Pepsi is willing to buck a consumer boycott with a known base of millions of people, theyre probably willing to risk a backlash from Republicans who may decide to drink Coke instead, he said. But that would show a corporate arrogance that may come back to haunt them, Knight added.
If history is any indication, Knight said, Pepsi may eventually join the ranks of companies that have reassessed their positions and adopted a neutral stance on controversial cultural issues, rather than face pressure from pro-family conservatives.

Boycott by not eating at Pizza Hut, Taco Bell or KFC. Pepsi owns them. Not any more, they don't.
I realize that this is from Wikipedia, but there's a lot of information about PepsiCo HERE . It shows the brands that Pepsi owns, and it shows that they did sell off Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and KFC.

Quoth Indra Nooyi 5/15/2005 (Pepsi CEO):
This analogy of the five fingers as the five major continents leaves the long, middle finger for North America, and, in particular, the United States. As the longest of the fingers, it really stands out. The middle finger anchors every function that the hand performs and is the key to all of the fingers working together efficiently and effectively. This is a really good thing, and has given the U.S. a leg up in global business since the end of World War I.
However, if used inappropriately just like the U.S. itself the middle finger can convey a negative message and get us in trouble. You know what Im talking about. In fact, I suspect youre hoping that Ill demonstrate what I mean. And trust me, Im not looking for volunteers to model.
F*** Pepsi.

The inauguration is a unique moment in time when people of all ages and backgrounds are rallying around a common sense of purpose, Bradley added. With a statement like that, I think Pepsi has grounds to test Nicole for drugs. No sane, sober individual could possibly think that people are rallying around any common cause here.
What a bimbo - obviously an affirmative action hire because she certainly wasn't hired for her insight or intellect.

Adjusts the tin foil hat:
It was really a quiet, bloodless coup. While part of the nation slept in their apathy a revolution of decades was finally coming to fruition. A world had watched in patient resolve as a country was sufficiently reeducated, redirected, and reworked until such a time as they, themselves would choose progressive socialism.
After the inauguration the masks worn by so many in power were slowly removed. The hidden tactics brought to light that, that once great nation held in contempt were now embraced...
...in less than 50 years the goal of actually being in place to take a great people into a new century of enlightened socialism is in their grasp...
The coup had worked...
