It does look crowded from that perspective, doesn’t it?
Yep...a funny thing happens when you don't feel as if your every word will be put under a microscope...
I love seeing this side of the Pres.
I am glad you like the photo of the day
You're quite welcome
kaslin: AWESOME DOSE — thank you! I’m so glad that President Bush was able to honor his stalwart allies before leaving office!

SHOCK OF THE DAY (to the MSM/political pundits):
According to today’s AOL POLL (with over 100,000 respondents), almost 60% of respondents will actually MISS President Bush (42% will miss him A LOT — more than indicate they won’t miss him at all)

Thank you, Kaslin, for the ping.
Investors Business Daily has a great editorial about the event>
Statecraft: Nations become allies of the U.S. for many reasons historic, strategic or even for aid. Then there are allies who contribute the U.K., Australia and Colombia. Their leaders were rightly honored Tuesday.

Did you see the second part of Sean Hannity's interview with the president? I have to do a search if there are any transcripts of the interview
The troops will especially miss him
My pleasure
Count me as one that WILL miss him...a LOT! *sigh*
Great bunch of pictures, Kaslin! Thanks for your hard work!
What will we do next? =\
Thank you, kas .... great job!! Wonderful, melancholy pictures today. Blair and Howard have been the most staunch allies, through thick and thin. It was wonderful and appropriate that they were so beautifully honored like this.
But ............. sigh ............ The minutes just tick on.
The President and Laura were delightful on Larry King earlier.
I’m so impressed with the peace on our President’s face tonight. He can look at himself in the mirror, for whatever he’s done, it was for the good of the country in his opinion, not for any personal reasons.
As has been said: well done, good and faithful servant.
WOW - powerful event - honoring friends to our President AND TO OUR COUNTRY!
And now we know where Rush was today BTW!!!
Thank you Kaslin
Looking forward to your Dose on the 20th!!!
Thanks for the dose - sorry I was not around but was exhausted last night.
As I have often said I will always support Tony Blair's position on the WOT etc and for that alone he was a worthy recipient of the Medal of Freedom from GWB.
Great words star I concur
Thanks for the ping!
Me, too!
More now .. than ever! We need this place!
Take care, sweetie. We love you!
I wish Bush would have included for honor citations Jose Aznar, previous PM of Spain before the current socialist Zapatero.
Aznar understood the mission in Iraq as well as Blair and Howard.
He was defeated of course after the cowardly Spanish reaction to the Madrid terror bombings.
