In a carbon copy of the 2006 conflict with Hizbollah, Israel is once again losing the media war. The Hamas cheer squad of CNN, the BBC (funded by all British taxpayers), the New York Times and the Guardian is raining propoganda bombs on Israel as surely as the 6,000 Qassam rockets that have hit its southern borders from Gaza.
Despite a clear cut case of self-defence that even the Muslim countries of Egypt (‘Hamas are more interested in having the injured serve as pawns in their propaganda war on Western TV networks‘), Saudi Arabia (‘Arab states should call a spade a spade…let Hamas accept responsibility for once..‘) and the Palestinian Authority (‘we talked to them and we told them ‘please, we ask you, do not end the truce. Let the truce continue and not stop’ so that we could have avoided what happened”) accept is of Hamas’ own making, the Western media continue to hold Israel to impossibly high standards.
There are no street protests over the ongoing civilian deaths in Sri Lanka, no marches against Russia as it threatens to cut off gas supplies to Central Europe in the midst of a freezing winter, no petitions demanding ceasefires in the war-torn corners of Africa, no hysterical over-the-hill pop stars crying over the children of Afghanistan. But whenever Israel sheds blood, the world demands its pound of flesh.

Today we learn that Obama wants to “talk” to Hamas.
Israel should make sure there will be no Hamas to talk to.

The BBC is funded by television licence fees not from taxes, ergo if you do not have a television in the UK you do not fund the BBC (except the world service). Further more the TV Licence covers households not individuals.
The corrollary is too that the BBC is also funded by plenty of non-tax payers such as the unemployed and pensioners.

those who regard the MSM as worth catering to are those who are so incredibly gullible or stupid, it leaves the rest of us with no need for the MSM.

Being eaten last by the crocodile. All these people who say bad things about Israel and America could care less. When the poops hits the fan, they will pack up their lovely park avenue apartments and go to Aspen or Switzerland or wherever they can get away from the Proletariat.
It is about haves and have nots. The ones in the middle get wiped out, become the have nots and the haves feel that they need to help us by giving us scraps. We are supposed to be grateful and rely on the government whom they support because their representatives block legislation that will stop them from stealing.
When the horse is out of the barn, they blame the opposition then put in more laws to further take away our freedom.
If it wasn’t for the second amendment we would have already been converted to a Marxist society.

The NYT hid the concentration/death camps 20 pages into the paper. Joe Kennedy thought we should ignore the camps and deal w/Hitler. Sound familiar?

When Hamas leader Nizar Rayyan was assassinated in an IAF strike last week, his four wives and 11 of his children died with him. According to his surviving children, the death of the Rayyan family children was not an accident: Rayyan had trained his wives and children to die with him as “martyrs.”
Surviving family members spoke to local Arab media and said that in the days before his death, Rayyan had repeatedly asked his children, “Who wants to die with me as a martyr?” The children would respond, “Yes, daddy, we all want to be with you alive or dead.”
Rayyan’s adult daughter, Wala, said even the younger children wished to die with their father. “If you had asked my four-year-old sister Aisha, who died in the attack, she would have told you that she preferred to die as a martyr,” Wala told Ma’an news.
One of Rayyan’s daughter-in-laws said she was offered the chance to die with the family. She stopped by the family’s large home in Jabaliya and was asked by Rayyan if she wished to die with him, his wives and their children. She agreed to die, but later left the building, shortly before the IAF strike.
As it turned out, when Rayyan offered his daughter-in-law the “opportunity” to die he had already received a phone call from the IDF warning him to evacuate his house due to an impending airstrike.
The 11 children who died with Nizar Rayyan ranged in age from one year old to 16. Another son died years earlier when Rayyan sent him to carry out a suicide bombing in Gaza. Two Israelis were murdered in that attack.
But of course the “realist” position is that men like Rayyan are open to negotiation.

America lost the media war in November. Perhaps we should realize that our survival should not be placed in the Media’s hands.
The media has been captured by the enemy long ago.
