......blaming Israel for an alleged shortage of supplies .....
The statement shows the incompetance of Hamas and of the hospital administrators and of the Gaza citizens.
They all know there was the high probability of a large influx of casualties. They should have stockpiled suppiies to last a month at least and 10,000 casualties.
Hamas et al is at fault

Israelis shot and wounded in Denmark
“Two Israeli citizens are reported to have been wounded after shots were fired in the Rosengårdscentret in Odense, Denmark”
ARTICLE SNPPET: “Police said the nationality of the perpetrator was uncertain, although he was said to be a foreigner.”
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “Eyewitnesses told bt.dk that the perpetrator arrived in a hairdresser’s salon owned by one of the Israelis. He was said by eyewitnesses to have shouted something ‘in a Middle-Eastern language’ after which he began shooting.
One of the Israelis was said to have tried to flee, while the other threw a stool at the man. Both, however, were hit.
The police spokesman said that six bullets had been fired.”

From the front lines:
December 31st, 2008 · 2 Comments
After an assassination attempt, Winston Churchill famously quipped that nothing is more exhilarating than being shot at without result.
Im not so sure about that. In Beersheba, weve been shot at with Grad missiles several times in the last 12 hours, and one thing I dont feel is exhilaration.
Terrorized, yes, indeed. The terrorists are doing their thing, and doing it well. I never really did stop shaking after last nights blasts and then it started again this morning.
Its funny during the last two years, I visited the much-bombarded village of Sderot many times, and rarely was I ever there unless their Color Red missile warnings went off, and I had to run for cover when the Kassamim hit. In Sderot, I was appropriately nervous, but not shaking.
But when the sirens blare here, and Im sitting in my own home, its very different. Im not sure why that is. Maybe its because in Sderot, I was visiting. I knew I was going home afterward. However bad it was, I was leaving. It wasnt really my problem.
Now that theyre hitting here, its a whole new ballgame. Now its personal.
The first siren went off last night at about 9 pm. The public warning loudspeakers are mounted all over the whole metropolitan area, so no one can miss it. Here, in Beershebas Old City, where I live, the neighborhood siren must be mounted very close to my house. Its nothing short of ear-splitting which probably contributes to the fear factor. The siren alone is terrifying.
Ideally, the sirens are supposed to give you 15 seconds to run to a safe room or to a public bomb shelter. I dont even have to tell you how nuts that is.
This is a long read, and a first hand report.

...and now a note from Cindy to HAMAS and the rest of the jihadi groups in Gaza:
Listen up.
Your hate is blinding you so much that you
can’t grasp this simple concept; so I’m going
to spell it out for you.
STOP THE BOMBING.
STOP IT NOW.
STOP IT.
Some things in life are simple.
This is one of them.

“Energency Medical Services on Unprecedented Nationwide Top Alert”
by Avraham Zuroff and Gil Ronen
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “(IsraelNN.com) Magen David Adom was put on its highest state of alert nationwide Wednesday by MDA Israel Director-General Eli Bin. This is the first time that MDA is on top alert throughout Israel, and not just in specific regions.
Several reasons were given for the high alert:
The growing number of communities under threat of missile attack by Hamas.
The concern that violence will get worse on Friday, which the Muslims often use for rioting, and that Arab citizens and residents of Israel will take part in riots.
Specific intelligence warnings regarding terror attacks that are being planned by Arabs in Judea and Samaria and elsewhere.
The civil New Year’s Day which is often accompanied by drunken driving accidents and violence between celebrants.
Police are also on high alert. They have arrested 330 people for riots and disturbances since the beginning of Operation Cast Lead.”
