“I dont know too much about this guy but at least its not Jesse Jew-hatin Jackson Junior or that welfare queen enabler Valerie Jarrett. I guess well learn more but those two need to be kept out of the senate by any means necessary.”
If he is who I think he is, this, with very few exceceptions, Burris is about as good as you will find for an Illinois Democrat. I realize thats not saying much.

That’s Bobby Rush.. Former member of the Black Panthers...
Rush defeated Obama in a US House primary back in 2000...
Rush stated the following about Obama
“Barack Obama went to Harvard and became an educated fool. Barack is a person who read about the civil-rights protests and thinks he knows all about it.”
And yeah...Rush sounded like he was either drunk..or having some sort of health problem of some sort...

Apparently he's the only person ever to have defeated Obama in an election (the 2000 US House race)!
You can't make this stuff up! If the country's going to fall apart, at least it's going to be interesting to watch.
To: pgkdan; Senator Goldwater
"Hes actually more experienced than Obama was."
LOL. So am I!
So is the doorknob on the door to my room here.

Roland Burris, not dead yet, notable black Illinois politician. Roland Burris. Note the two flanking panels of 'Major Accomplishments' and 'Other Major Accomplishments', as well as the strategic blank spot in the center panel, left in the event that he should be elected governor.

I agree. The strange way he approached the podium from the audience, as if he was not expected or showed up late, and the slurring speech. Either he just drank a 40 or he's having a stroke.
I hope he's OK. I kind of like him, and he's certainly not afraid of Obama. Maybe after the senate refuses to take Burris Blago can appoint Rush.

Note picture of Burris and Washington...Remember one article refuted that Washington and his ties with the CPUSA was the reason BHO went to Chicago.....
So are there similar ties with Burris????

Happy New Year to you, too! And thanks for all of the good thoughts you send to us here.
This is just too priceless. Think of all the plot possibilities ... and all the very nervous pipples.
This whole thing gets more surreal and like a B-rate political thriller movie every day. LOL

Black Panther Bobby Rush..... this is wild.
I didn’t think they would be so stooopid as to make the Black Panther race-baiting obvious on national TV, but here they are. What a great spectacle for the Demagogue Party and Dickie Durbin to contemplate....

I love drunken Democrats, especially when they're making public appearances.

I feel sorry for the guy. There will always be a cloud over his head.
You are right, maybe he can take it upon himself to cleanup the cess pool in Chicago, somebody needs to clean house ... And it looks like the FEDS don't have what it takes or Blago would be looking at hard time.
To: Dr. Bogus Pachysandra
3J has gotta be ticked off! He's done now. If he narcs out 'rats for the feds, he's cooked.

I wonder if Rhamie is on tape reccomending Burris???
To: Red in Blue PA
After all, he hasnt been convicted of anything. In Illinois, there are two kinds of politicians. Those who have been convicted, and those who will be convicted.
