Authorities arrested a suspect in the Salem area Sunday evening in the Woodburn bank bombing that killed two police explosives experts and injured the town's police chief and a bank employee.
The name of the suspect, address of the arrest or any details about the investigation were not released "to protect the integrity of the investigation and the safety of officers continuing to investigate this crime," a news release from the Marion County Sheriff's Office said.
"The arrest was the result of an intensive round-the-clock investigation by an interagency task force comprised of federal, state, county, and city public safety agencies," Marion County Sheriff Russ Isham said. "I'm really proud of those who tirelessly worked to get us to this point and am humbled by the community's support. We know there is still a lot of hard work ahead of us, but this development will help bring relief to the local community and the officers' families."

Looks Amish
good.
Looks like a guy I went to HS with a long time ago...he was Italian...
Seriously, the local TV news (which only announced these suspect photos, not the arrest) said the dude is from the Bend area and was a machinist in the area, and authorities apparently knew who he was, and knew of a time and place that he bought cellphones to use in the bomb, and that he was known to have been in Woodburn on Friday.
So it looks as though someone who knew a lot about this turned him in.

Good to see you! Wow!
Earlier Sunday, the police released photographs of a man sought in connection with the Woodburn bank bombing that killed two police explosives experts and critically injured the town's police chief. Police did not say whether the man arrested was the man in the photo.
Has me wondering where in Salem the apprehended their alledged suspect.

Been keeping a slightly higher profile...But I check in at least two or three times every day...
The Photo could have been about half of Douglas County here. Perhaps someone saw something about it they recognized. He was arrested quickly.
