(edit)
Although the programme was on Radio 1, pictures were also relayed to online listeners via a webcam.
And while Barrowman's genitalia were not actually shown, the crude comments which accompanied the incident made it clear what had happened.
(edit)
Grimshaw said: 'You're famous, we're told, for getting your willy out in interviews. Is this going to happen today? Should Annie be careful?'
Barrowman asked: 'Is the webcam on?' When told it was, he declared: 'All right, I'll get it out for you then, no problem.' The webcam had been swiftly covered up but listeners heard Annie Mac screaming: 'Oh my God!' as the other two were heard laughing.
(edit)
The Scottish-American actor, whose early TV career was as a children's presenter on Live And Kicking, said the 'light-hearted' banter went too far - and promised it would never happen again.
(edit)
He is openly gay and in 2006 'married' long-term partner Scott Gill in a civil ceremony. Since then he has appeared determined to seek notoriety.
In June 2007 he gave an interview saying his boyfriend became 'turned on' by the thought of Barrowman being with a woman.
By early this year, he was boasting that he regularly flashes his bottom, often at his own family 'as they drive off in the car'.
His Torchwood co-star Freema Agyeman then revealed that the actor commonly walked around the set with his 'chap hanging out'.
And Barrowman added that he had once soiled himself on stage and kicked faeces into the audience.

"Madam, are you having trouble with your garment?"ROFL! Oh, how I wish I'd thought of that!
(((snicker)))
Please though, don't actually use it in a context such as what we are referring to....I would be utterly heartbroken if I were to learn that you had been attacked by some psychotic homosexual.

I promise, only if I have something with which to protect myself. I suppose my sharp wit wouldn’t be enough.... ;)

I suppose my sharp wit wouldnt be enough.... ;)Unfortunately, when you are interacting with homosexuals you cannot count on traditional gentlemanly courtesies and a chivalric demeanor, as evidenced by this article.

I stopped watching Torchwood on BBC America because Barrowman was always kissing and slow dancing with other men.

Why does everything involving black men have to involve Obama?
Actually, the black actor you refer to is Paterson Joseph, who played the Marquis of Carabas in a TV series called “Neverwhere” 12 years ago.
I remember people suggesting him as a possible Doctor if the series was ever resurrected, while I was still at university over a decade ago.
There’s a clip on Youtube which demonstrates his Doctor-like qualities. You can see how people could imagine him as a perfect follow-up to the slightly Sylvester McCoy, playing a similar Doctor but with more emphasis on the strident tones and wit of the Tom Baker era.
Geek, out!

If I were him, I'd be more concerned about the laughter.

Would have been a great choice for a Doctor in the new series. Heck I’d even take Noel Clarke ( Mickey from the new series ) if they have to have a black Doctor. He’d be better than what we’ll most likely end up with if they do decide to go that route. He is bit young for the role and most Whovians wouldn’t accept a same actor, different character deal but I still like him.

If I were him, I'd be more concerned about the laughter. Indeed, and thanks to his homosexuality he apparently doesn't need to be concerned about his job not to mention his lack of concern about being arrested....I am extremely doubtful that a healthy man, after conducting himself in such a base manner, would be so very lucky.
