I am Buying Handguns and Need Some Recomendations

I need to purchase handguns for my family. I prefer private sales. I need a plinger like a 22 and something that is protection. The protection would come in two sizes, one that a full grown adult could use, and one that I could use. I have problems with my hands and need something that won't kick so I dont drop the gun. Something that will fit in the Cabelas purse holster. Are ther also between seat car holsters?

Sig Sauer P226 is my favorite...for less impact and volocity but still packs a solid punch with 85 grain hollow points, a Baretta Model 84 cal.380 is nice and it also can be easily concealed

The LCP has a recall and is a blatant ripoff of the Kel Tec P3AT.

I was taught by a former CHP officer that the average gun fight was nine feet or less ... at that range all you have to do is point in the general direction. I can center all my shots (center body) at that range ... the trigger pull for me is OK - it’s a bit stiff on the first round but after it cycles it’s softer ...

I thought the plinker would be to help with aim and out in the woods.

.32 H&R magnum - I have a collectors S&W model 16 in .32 mag. It’s a mighty snotty little k-frame. BATFE now classifies it as “curio/oddball”

Try a Kel TEC P32 they are very small and narrow and should fit deep into your hand even with limited thumb use. The 32 is enough for self defense and does not kick much. a 22 would kick a lot less but is barely considered defense worthy if at all. Ruger also was making a double action .22 revolver which is good for what you are describing.
For the larger gun try a Glock 19

After reading about your limitations, May I suggest a shotgun with a pistol grip for your home, either Semi or Pump... ºô=ï

What about a Glock 30? Would that be too much for her?

I bought my wife a Keltec P-32. She can’t grip the slide strongly enough to pull it all the way back for laoding.

Wow, I have a Tomcat also and use exactly the same ammo load sequence. Great minds surely do think alike.

I just replaced the Tomcat with a KelTec P32. Weighs about half what the Beretta does, only 3/4" wide. Perfect for my bike gun. Don't even need a holster anymore, just cut a slit in the watch pocket of my jeans... perfect!

Just wished they would pass an open carry so I could get the .45 out of the bike bag and strap it on.

Would that be a 12 gauage gun? The one that shoots birdshot?

Been a while since I have been around one

What ever gun you buy be sure you but lots of ammo for it. I mean lots, 2000 rounds per gun would not be excessive. Buy that Russian stuff in the can. 10 to 1 they go after ammo first and without ammo all you have a nice new expensive club.
