Barack Obama's aides believe he has made a mistake in hiring Hillary Clinton

In the office block in downtown Washington where Barack Obama's White House transition team are at work, there is no time for breaks.

Lunch is taken at desks. Staff need a good reason to go out at all.

But a little after lunch on Wednesday two Obama aides went to a local coffee shop to talk. Both were veterans of the campaign, hailed as the best organised and most disciplined in US history, which has made their boss the first black president.

Both had come to believe, in the crucible of the campaign, that Mr Obama's judgment was superior to their own. But when they met on Wednesday they agreed on one thing: "He's making a mistake." As one of the participants told a friend later that night: "She'll do a good job but she'll do it for herself, not for Barack. I can't bear the drama again."

She, of course, is Hillary Clinton, former First Lady, figurehead of Democratic women, presidential candidate with 18 million votes and now would-be Secretary of State.

She Who Must Not Be Named has her own agenda. If any thinks she will play second fiddle to Obama, they are dreaming. Nothing that happens around the Clintons is a coincidence.

I kept asking myself: "Why would the Bwitch take a position in an Obambi admin she needs to sink so she can run in '12?"

What if the Clintons have already got a whiff of what is going to happen at SCOTUS next month from their two poodles Ruth Buzzy and Stanley Bear?

Guess what, as SoS, Hillary would be the natural pick of Biden to be his Veep.

I know, it sounds crazy, but Bill and Hillary have been quietly scheming for months how to get back into the WH. Remember Bill spouting that "...anybody who is Constitutionally eligible to run..." line?

Watch out Obambi, something tells me the SCOTUS hearing/ruling might not go the way you planned.

I keep wondering what is making her do this. I think she would be more viable politically to stay where she is and take a run at another office, like NY Gov. This seems like a totally illogical move for her, a move which will close off her Presidential ambitions for all time.

I don't think there has been a former SecState to be elected President since James Buchanan.

This is a loser move for Her Hilariousness.

What's next? Perhaps an appointment for Edwards to the Chairmanship of LSC, and increasing it's budget to one Billion dollars?

Makes sense, as Hillary was a member and is a former Chair, LSC advises 0bama on his transition, 0bama has worked closely with them, and they are joined at the hip with Acorn.

You all don’t see the pathos in this? Barack wants Hillary like a moth to flame. He doesn’t even realize what compells him. Here it is: Barack needs a dominant white woman who doesn’t buy his bullsh*t act. He lost his main one two weeks ago. Now, he needs another.

Barack may play strong black man, but that is just an act. Deep down, he needs dominant woment telling him what to do because that is all he has ever known. First, Stanley Anne, then Madeline “Toot” now Hillary of the West. It has nothing to do with competence or power...it’s pathos and pathos only.

The more I think about it, the more this seems like the first major mistake of his presidency. It seems like he thinks he can control her, which is pure insanity. There’s no way that’s going to happen.

I think he has seriously misjudged this situation.

He obviously cannot even control his aides, even the ones who think he is smarter than they are. They are meeting with a journo and speaking out of school. Why?

I think this is more important than his hiring of Hillary. He isn’t even inaugurated yet and his team is telling the media he has made a mistake. What happened to *protect your principal*? I thought that was the staffers’ creed.

Obama doesn’t have much choice. His political ‘friends’ in Chicago are either already under investigation or too smart to leave the city limits, and he doesn’t have any political ‘friends’ in Washington. Every one of the Clintonista Rats is calculating down to the last ounce just how much water the SS Obama will be ablt to take on before it starts to sink, and it starts happening they’ll take to the lifeboats, aka think tanks and NGOs. I give him until the early fall of 2009.

I realize this is totally wrong, inhospitable and mean, but, I’m not totally trusting of folks who signed up this year and tell me Hillary isn’t liberal and we should all be pulling for 0bama.
