The more I think about it, the more this seems like the first major mistake of his presidency. It seems like he thinks he can control her, which is pure insanity. There’s no way that’s going to happen.

I think he has seriously misjudged this situation.

He obviously cannot even control his aides, even the ones who think he is smarter than they are. They are meeting with a journo and speaking out of school. Why?

I think this is more important than his hiring of Hillary. He isn’t even inaugurated yet and his team is telling the media he has made a mistake. What happened to *protect your principal*? I thought that was the staffers’ creed.

I think there must have been some sort of a deal worked out with the Democrats that they would give him the nomination and he could be the figure-head president, but that the Clintons would be the actual presidents. If that isn’t the actual scenario, it certainly is playing out that way.
