Che Guevera Gets A Statute In Central Park (WHAT!?)
Say Anything ^ | 11/21/2008 | Rob

Posted on 11/22/2008 9:27:01 AM PST by Pyro7480

A memorial to a murderous socialist thug in the heart of the heart of capitalism:

The base of the sculpture is inscribed with a Che quote that my ignorance of Spanish prohibited me from deciphering. But I’m pretty sure it wasn’t an apology for committing acts of terror and helping to derail a country for nearly half a century.
I’ve never understood the left’s fascination with Che. I mean sure, he’s a socialist and that ostensibly means he’s a member of the people’s revolution or whatever euphemism the extremist proponents of government-run everything use for themselves. But the reality of Che doesn’t really match up to myth of Che carried in the hearts (and on the backpacks and t-shirts) of aging hippies and immature college students everywhere.

For instance, did you know that Che Guevera was a terrorist who plotted the murder of tens of thousands of innocents? Well, maybe that doesn’t matter so much given that Bill Ayers was given a pass for plotting the same sort of things. Bug Guevera was also known to rail against rock 'n roll, "long hairs" and homosexuals in his speeches. He was a racist who mocked black Cubans and segregated them in his revolutionary movement. And he was a book burner who personally hosted bonfires fed by the libraries of intellectuals.

Are those things really worth celebrating?

I agree with you on this. However the people I am talking about think he’s not a murderer, that’s whats so sad about it.

"Parts of this country as a bunch of ass-clowns."

Generally concentrated within or in proximity to major American urban centers

"This has to be a joke. How would this get past any committee in charge of ok’ing public art?"

Now you're joking, right?

Next to it should be a new sculpture of an Obama supporter circa 2008, with the inscription "PIE, WE WANT PIE!"

I wonder how the left would feel if someone crapped on their statues.

old news, but why I say this: It’s official: Someone vandalized the Vietnam Veterans Memorial

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1897967/posts

As some may already know, someone squirted oil on the Vietnam Wall Memorial. 5,000 dollar reward for the person who did it. If identified, I don't think that is enough of a reward to make a person want to collect. Especially if it is a Vietnam Vet who Id's the scumbag.

Seems to me a little revolutionary defacing might be appropriate. Wouldn’t Che want the masses to rise up against usurpers like himself?

Here's the Lenin statue in Seattle:

Somebody obviously moved the urinal cake I put there before they snapped this picture. Isn't much wonder how his foot got to be that color.

I didn’t know Central Park had its own laws.

With the socialists in power invest in copper stocks. Bronze statues need a lot of copper. An example is Southern Copper Corp NYSE:PCU

Kramer: "Elaine, settle an argument. Is it statute of limitations, or statue of limitations.?"

Elaine: "It's statute."

Kramer: "Oh, I really think you're wrong!"

When we retake NYC, we pull it over.

New Yorkers who believe in liberty should be daubing it with red paint as a matter of routine.

They have a memorial to Che in downtown Havana, too. It’s the building that houses the Secret Police. His work will never be done.

The statue should be 18 inches tall, and be located in a place where people let their dogs urinate.

Your going to have to get used to Che.

Che tee-shirts will be the official uniform of thug-o-cratic subversives.

It’ll kill to birds with one stone. (O-bots won’t suspect anyone waring a Che tee-shirt and in the end, it will give Che a bad name)
