The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.
The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.
WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.
The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

If in fact they are identical, then producing it should be no problem. 0 should present it to all involved in these lawsuits, and save himself and us the time, money, and aggravation involved in the fight.
It may end that story if true, which I doubt!!!
The story goes on with the other inconsistency of dual citizenship Indonesia/Kenya???
You miss my point. If Obama was born in Hawaii (which I understand is a point of debate), the citizenship of his parents is moot.
A poster earlier was saying that the reason Obama is ineligible is because his mother was not old enough to have lived in the states the requisite 5 years after turning 16. That is a separate argument from the questionable birth certificate.
If I follow, the possible reasons for ineligibility are as follows:
1) Birth Certificate not real
2) Mom did not live 5 years in states after 16
3) O actually born in Kenya
4) Dual citizenship with Indonesia and/or Kenya
This is what I have distilled from this thread and one other.
“I dont think the certificate is unarguably doctored. I can see the raised seal, so unless the state or employees of the state were in on the fabrication, I think it is real for now.”
There is much more information about it’s doctoring that is beyond even your close scrutiny. You can read about it if you’re really interested.
Right on the point. Today's TV generation have no clue how much a shame it was to deliver a mixed baby. So for them now living and gone to school with integration rules, it's not a big deal, so screw the Constitution. BTW, Constitution, what's that, hmmm!!!
I did read about it. No signature, no creases visible, weird shadows around the letters, “certification” versus “certificate” of birth. To me, it’s a stretch, but I don’t have a problem with your position. I find the whole thing fascinating.
And like this: (yes, McCain IS a Natural Born Citizen -- his dad was a Navy Captain -- Google it for yourself)
Not this tripe:
This just gets stranger by the day.
Anybody know when the Dunham's moved from Washington to Hawaii?
No. It's my opinion of Obama's attitude. IMO he's saying that by his refusal to do as I have been required to do several times.
If he is declared ineligible I would hope that there is incontrovertible proof, because the repercussions would last for generations. It would make 2000 and the resulting polarization of politics look like a maypole dance.
And bear in mind, no matter what proof you show, there will be some on the left that will never buy it. It will be seen, and spun, as an attack on Obama because of his race. Unfair, untrue, I hope, but that’s what will happen.
> why cant we see any candidates birth certificate? <
Because it would show that his father really was Frank Marshall Davis.
Using the tinfoil/conspiracy/jumped the shark stuff is denigrating the messengers and commenters and says absolutely nothing about the arguments themselves.
Civil and polite have nothing to do with it. If you think none of these arguments have any merit, why not discuss them instead of using the terms above.
Why doesn’t Malcom X being the father have any merit? Why doesn’t Obama release his actual birth certificate, as McCain did? The obvious and only reason that could make any sense is that there is something or somethings on it that he doesn’t want anyone to see. You say that it is “beyond reasonable” that Malcom X could be Obama’s actual father? Why do you say this? Just because you don’t believe it? And I have never seen any “eugenic” descriptions of Kenyans. All I said was that there was little no absolutely no resemblance between Obama Senior and his putative son, whereas a great deal - uncannily so - between Malcom X and Obama.
Maybe there is no relationship. But why is Obama refusing to show his BC? And why do you no use reason and argument if you think there is nothing to all this, yet post on this thread?
Again, I never used the term tinfoil and I never called anyone a name, a charge you still have not apologized for. And this is the definition of a conspiracy. In order for all this to be true, many people conspired to hide the truth of Obama’s birth and parentage.
I don’t believe it. I’m sorry, but I don’t. Maybe it’s true, I’ll keep following it and keeping up on developments.
There's also the issue of Obama being born as "Barry Soetoro."
He's an attorney. He knows the implications of NOT having his name legally changed and being different than the name appearing on the Presidential ballot.
According to the Hawaiian statues, NOBODY, except Hussein or family have access to look at the BC. If Fukino/Onaka DID, they would be law breakers, however, we saw what happened to Joe the Plumber, hmmm!!!
Sigh. I am not saying you called me a name. I am saying that by using terms like “tinfoil” which you did use, IIRC, jumping the shark, and conspiracy, you are denigrating all the people here and elsehwere who have dug stuff up about the BC and eligibility for president situation. You have not made any attempt to read more than a little, by your own admission. You are, IMO, attempting to paint this entire situation with the “conspiracy” paintbrush, for reason or reasons of your own.
Your statment about Republicans not being moderate enough is enough to explain things.
And your use of the word “conspiracy” is an attempt to taint. Obama and very few others could know any damaging info about his BC, it wouldn’t have to be a large number of people. Many people? Some in Kenya who aren’t allowed to be interviewed, and practically everyone else, in the US, who would know is dead.
“To me, its a stretch”
I just think that no matter what the evidence, no matter what the proof, some will insist that Obama is not constitutionally eligible to be president.”
Take out the “not” and apply to yourself.
