The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.
The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.
WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.
The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

Obama was likely born in Kenya. If a tree falls in the forest and no one reports on it, did it fall?
Is there any proof of that? I know there is speculation, but anything solid? I admit that I did not read all 600 plus posts!
I take it you're not familiar with the question of Barry's Indonesian citizenship?
Per Indonesian immigration law at the time of Barry's emigration there, he would have had to renounce his American citizenship to become an Indonesian citizen. His mother married an Indonesian, who adopted Barry, so the renunciation of his American citizenship surely occurred.
So far, Obama has provided NO proof that he subsequently re-applied for, and was granted American citizenship. He may still be an Indonesian citizen for all the public knows.
And, of course, if he is, he cannot legally assume the office of the Presidency.
Allow me to chime in here with my own first comment to the thread...
Barack Obama is withholding information from his original birth certificate, because something on there is so damaging, that he would prefer to fight in court to keep it hidden.
Since he has won the 2008 election, there is no reason for him to continue to withhold the release of his COLB if that information is merely embarrassing.
However, Obama et al are continuing to block the release of his COLB with legal maneuvering, i.e., that something is much more damaging to him than a mere "embarrassment".
Therefore, it can be rightfully deduced that Obama has committed a fraud of some degree upon the American people vis a vis his eligibility to assume the office of President.
The continuing and rising interest in this case is wholly justified, in my opinion, by the simple facts above.
“If all Hawaii birth certificates are sealed why did Obama need lawyers to make sure that it stayed sealed? Who was going to steal his identity? He has had a number of identities himself. What is he trying to hide? How is the media helping to keep this thing a crazy lunatic type of story and what do they know that they refuse to report?”
Let’s put it this way, there is no proof to the contrary. Don’t forget who Obama’s friends are. They had awhile to work on the “birth certificate” issue. The glove didn’t fit OJ. Conclusive proof that he did not commit the crime?
Your mother needs a document saying that you are her child.
She goes (at home) to the nearest document-producing place and gets that document. You have a Certificate of Live Birth issued by the state of Hawaii. The document-producing place has, on record, your mothers story that you were born at home (or in Kenya).
The “short form” doesn't have all the information on it. It says that Hawaii certifies you are a warm body.
A Birth Certificate is signed by the doctor that delivered you and includes information about where, which hospital.
Now, the issue here is was BOs grass hut (hospital) in Hawaii or Kenya?
As we've seen MANY times in these threads, his mother's status did not automatically make him a citizen because of her age and number of years in the country after age 16.
IF he was born in Hawaii, game over, he's fine.
IF he was born in Kenya, he's not a “natural born” citizen.
What the Hawaiian officials stated was that they have his information (CoLB). They DIDN'T say what that information is. We don't know where his grass hut was.

For me, “no proof to the contrary” is not enough.
I don’t trust Obama and he has already been caught in 50 lies and counting. I look at his character and his track record and I just know he is lying about being born in the USA.
Have you seen the birth announcement in a Hawaii paper from August, 1961? I doubt that the conspiracy would have reached that far back, would it?
But I guess anything can be forged, huh?

From the State's own website:
s provided by law (HRS §§338-17.7, 338-20.5), the following persons may apply for an amended certificate of birth:
....
* A person born in a foreign country who has been legally adopted in the State of Hawaii.
As you'll recall, BO was adopted by his stepfather. There are other potential ways as well, but this would be the most common.
The birth announcement may well have been placed by a well meaning family member who wanted to make sure that the baby would be a US citizen when he came back to the USA...
I guess my point is that there would never be anything that would prove to you that Obama was born in Hawaii. And that’s fine, it is your prerogative to believe anything you wish.
Sure, it sounds reasonable. But why would a teenage girl fly halfway around the world to begin with, in the third trimester of her pregnancy, if there weren't some pressure for her to do so?
Dunno...it's all added, inapplicable speculation surrounding this case anyway. What's important is Obama's eligibility. The Africa trip is only important, if it resulted in his having been born there.
I want to see the sealed birth certificate. The one he won’t show to the public.

But would you really, honestly believe it? Wouldn’t it be possible to be faked, too? If relatives were setting him up to be a citizen from the beginning, anything is possible, right?
Obama’s paternal grandmother who lived in Kenya at the time said that she witnessed his birth in Kenya.
I suggest that you start at post #1 of this thread and read forward to gain some understanding of the issue at hand.
Better yet, use the FR search function to pull up more articles about this controversy. It' huge, it's real, it's not going away, and it just may dis-qualify Obama from ever assuming the office of President.
