Constitutional crisis looming over Obama's birth location
World Net Daily ^ | 11/14/08 | Bob Unruh

The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.

The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.

WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.

The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

I imagine tons of agents, investigators, moles, etc. working every angle

I imagine tons of agents, investigators, moles, etc. working to destroy any evidence that would prove Obama is not qualified.

You know, you really make a good point. C. Matthews said he would do all he could to help his presidency suceed guess that starts now. The MSM would have made hayseed of this if it there wasn’t some truth in it.

I’m afraid you may be correct. Lord help us. I’m still praying every day for a miracle and will continue as long as is needed.

You bring up a point that disturbs me more than the topic of this thread: why does Obama have no published writings. I’m an attorney and you google me or any other attorney that has taught at the college level, and you will find works we were required to produce to stay employed. This is a bigger question, but I guess the birth stuff is sexier.

Also, as to why colleagues haven’t spoken to the press? I personally know two—one who went to law school with him and one who knew him at Columbia. Neither wants their name in the paper, neither wants the press all over them, even if they weren’t to be savaged (which is a very real possibility).

I strongly disagree. The MSM has "invested" in Obama, and they cannot afford to have him lose, especially after he's won.

Just look at the newspaper, or listen to the evening news, and see if they use the UGLIEST 10-letter-word in an Editor's lexicon: RETRACTION

Very, VERY rare indeed to see that word used...

No one from Harvard, Columbia or any other large leftwing (to put it mildly) would speak out because they are in complete support of this coup. The people who elected 0 are stupid beyond the left’s wildest dreams. MSM is silent because they aided & abetted this nightmare and also are hypnotized by him and his great nothingness. The rest of us, the dissenters including I believe more people of color than whites know of , are insignificant in their eyes, whites are ‘racists’ and blacks who agree with whites are ‘Uncle Toms’ and/or racists.

I personally know an extremely conservative individual from Columbia who won’t say a word because he doesn’t want to be in the spotlight. He doesn’t know anything about the circumstances of Obama’s birth, of course, but about his college activities? Oh, yeah.

The electors don’t have to vote for McCain.

We do not even know what hospital he was born in so to assume that the hospital provided this information is assuming a lot. We do not know when the mother left Kenya.

There is no record which cannot be revealed subject to a subpoena or court order. The laws are as such to prevent the release of BC just wily-nily not for legitimate purposes such as ascertaining qualifications for the presidency.

I do not choose to be strident or rude in my dealing on this forum.

Unfortunately, your methods, remind me of an Agnostic talking to a Christian. The claim is always, that they are trying to learn, because they really don't know. The truth is they call every belief the Christian holds true into question, their real motive is to kill the Christians faith. I really don't understand why it would make any difference to an Agnostic, unless, the Christian Faith limits their lifestyle.

John Lott was a colleague at the UoC and has noted in interviews that Zero was extremely cold, unfriendly and would not be drawn into discussions of ideas. He contrasted that with the attitude of another liberal at the UofC Law School, Cass Sunnenstein, whom he characterized as very friendly, and always happy to discuss ideas without rancor.

As for the publishing: 1) he only was an adjunct profession not on the tenure track and was merely using the position to make a claim he was a constitutional professor; 2) you and others were not trying to HIDE your real thoughts as he was while organizing his political base. That was what “community organizing” was for him.

Your friends are cowards if they are hiding negative information. Get new friends.

Maybe I’m naive or even a little dense but don’t these socalled “public servants” work for us and not against us. I am just completely dumbfounded to have watched this whole process take place before our very eyes and supposed well-educated people be so blinded as to vote for such a bad actor. He’s worse than Arnold the barbarian.

I’m sorry you doubt my motives. I enjoy an intellectual challenge, and the combination of law, international travel, grandparental intrigue and the intricacies of how birth announcements are gathered is fascinating to me. I HAVE learned a lot from this thread and from independent research.

If, by “learn” you mean come to agree with you, then no, I guess I have not learned anything here. But if you mean it in the traditional sense, then yes, I have gained knowledge I did not have before.

I admit I do not come to the same conclusion as you, but, unlike some, I do not choose to insult or demonize those that disagree.

No the Electors do not. But after the vote is submitted to the Congress and Zero disqualified the choice would go to the House and be limited to the top 3 vote getters, in this case McCain, Mccain and MCcain. See the 12th and 20th amendment.

then this will mean that the Supreme Court has abdicated, and we will have no laws protecting the nation and its people. That’s the way I see it.

Yep. That's an accurate statement and I agree with you on it. Doesn't mean that I like it, though. I'm just trying to be pragmatic.

I think that the current SCOTUS won't be willing to trade social unrest for upholding the Constitution. 'Tis what you get when current politics demand spine removal. At worst - for all sides, and for all outcomes, and the most likely path IMHO, they duck and refuse to hear the case at all. At best, they figure out some way of upholding the law, while avoiding the social upheaval that will happen when they do it. I put the likelihood of this happening as "Extremely Low".....but, the SCOTUS might be a lot smarter than I (and other FReepers) am.

You know, I really hesitate to repeat hearsay, so suffice to say his behavior was all you might suspect of a college student and worse. And those rumors about W that were unfounded? I think here, they are found!

And that really makes me angry because some of those activities should disqualify him for a security clearance.

I absolutely think O is hiding writings. My belief is that they would present his ideology way too clearly.

I have heard Lott speak about him and it is really an eye-opener.
