The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.
The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.
WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.
The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

Bumping this thread. I want this matter laid to rest, one way or another.
We ‘regular joe’s and joanne’s can’t do ANYTHING without proof of who we are, be it a change to our SS account or get a passport without an official COLB.

You forget those reporters had help from the willing “Democrat” government officials. HI is and has been Democratic since the 1950’s with union support so no indepth investigation would ever have been done of their “native son”! Also don’t forget that Jr advised friends and aquaintances to not talk to the media. One of his best friends from Punahou was pilloried as trying to extort money from the campaign because he phoned their headquarters and said he needed money when they asked if he needed anything. He was living in a car after having been released from prison for drug charges. It’s all a matter of spin and with a favorable media anything can be buried!
So of course, this speaks to why Obama is so confident when he has no record to base being confident on.
This was such a racist election. I don't know what the total population of Blacks in the US is, but of that voting group, 95% voted for Obama. RACIST!!!!!
These facts would certainly be reported if there had been 95% of whites voting for McCain!
Frankly, I can't understand why anyone, other than Barack and Michelle would have voted for Barack.
Of course, Bush really blew it when he had all the give aways for the failing banks and now all of the big outfits are standing in line for a bailout!

This has me stumped too. All I can think of is that they just weren’t paying attention and the media had the last laugh, which is terrifying on so many levels.
I find that he is arrogant and has allowed things to go to his head in direct opposition to what his grandmother said to him after his speech at the 2004 Dem Convention.(”You did well Barry, I do worry though, don’t let it go to your head”) He is also incredibly ill informed on such things as dates. An example of this is when he announced in N.C. that his grandmother had died, “Well she’s gone home, she was born in 1922, which means she lived through two world wars and the Great Depression....” (World War I ended in 1918 4 years before his grandmother was born) The announcement he and his sister released also gave 1959 as the year his grandparents moved to HI when we know it was 1960 after Ann graduated from high school.
Before the election I tried to find out what his grandfather died from, but was not able to. After the election I discovered he had died of cancer. Wouldn’t the American people need to know this in advance?

Because many of us want to know the truth one way or the other as to Obama being constitutionally qualified to hold the office of President. We all have seen McCain’s original birth certificate, so where is Obama’s? Supposedly sealed in HI and Obama continues to fight to keep it that way. WHY?
With two cases pending before the US Supreme Court,one case before the Supreme Court of California and several other suits filed in various states, why doesn’t Obama just show the documents necessary and put this all to rest?
Even HE knows "fishy" when he smells it. His lawsuit is now before the CA S-Court.

Oh he has tripped. The question is whether he falls or not. Since I’m seeing Spitzer prance off with charges dropped; I’m really beginning to wonder if Obama will too.
If I remember correctly the latest census with details which has been released is the 1930 census. My geneaology is a little rusty but I believe the wait for release of a census is 75 years or the estimated lifetime of an individual. Perhaps someone more up to date on the release of the census can verify this.
