Constitutional crisis looming over Obama's birth location
World Net Daily ^ | 11/14/08 | Bob Unruh

The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.

The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.

WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.

The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

I find it interesting that our Marxist president elect may not have even been born in the USA. What are the odds?

Merriam-Webster's Online Dictionary: "Operative" (noun): "a person who works toward achieving the objectives of a larger interest " Once upon a time there was a man named Phillip. He wanted Hillary Clinton to win the Democratic nomination for President and he also wanted her to eventually be elected President. When Hillary Clinton didn't win the Democratic nomination for President, Phillip OPERATED in her larger interest and filed suit against the man who defeated her for the Democratic nomination. Phillip filed suit in federal district court stating that the man who defeated Hillary Clinton was not a natural born citizen of the United States but the judge said that Phillip didn't have standing to challenge the man who defeated Hillary Clinton's citizenship status. Phillip has appealed the judge's decision to the US Supreme Court in an attempt to continue to OPERATE in her larger interest.

The Maui tv article was actually from an article which appeared in “The Honolulu Advertiser” last week. As I mentioned it is one of the worst cases of journalism I have ever seen! I will find the analysis of the article which Freeper bvw made and post it here for you to read.

What a weirdly composed article.
Example 1: This sentence:

“Those were listings that came over from the state Department of Health,” he said. “They would send the same thing to both papers.”
Is followed immediately by this one:
Fringe theorists who insist Obama was born in Kenya are left to ponder how two independent Honolulu daily newspapers and the state Department of Health could be part of conspiracy half a century ago to thwart the truth about the future president of the United States.
Obfuscation Alert: The answer about the two papers is what the first statement made obvious — because the State Department send out the same list! So there did not have to be any conspiracy involving two papers, especially two that the article goes out of it’s way to declare as “independent.” That’s either really confused thinking by the author and editors or it is deliberate obfuscation meant to mislead.
Dishonest Reporting Alert: It is not even necessary that the Department of Health be involved in a conspiracy either. They could have merely accepted a birth notice from some party. And that party could have misstated the place of birth. Private parties are allowed to record a notice of birth. It is simply dishonest to report that there had to be a conspiracy involving the any official.

Logical Fallacy Alert: The article presents a small subgroup “theorists who insist Obama was born in Kenya” as if that represents all who question the birth legend. I do not know if any of us “insist” Obama was born in Kenya! Some of us do think he *most likely* was, but that is NOT the same as insisting. What we all would like to know is the truth. We do, however, insist that we want the *truth*, whatever that may be.

The logical fallacy is that the most easily dismissed subgroup of researchers is used as the typical example of all who seek the simple truths of Obama’s birth.

Prejudicial Bias Alert: The lead-off term “Fringe theorists” prejudices the reader. We are not fringe, and we are researchers as well as theorists. Actually, we’d love if the Hawaiian media would work with us to get to the truth. Assuming they want the truth, and not just the legend.

Example 2: This:

It’s feasible the couple occupied the back cottage at 6085 Kalaniana’ole. Public records from the time show that Barack H. Obama, 25, also had a residence at 625 11th Ave. in Kaimuki.
Since those records show that Obama Sr. had the 11th Avenue dwelling at the same time he and his wife were living on Kalanianaole Highway, its possible the young Barack also visited that residence.

Frame Breaker Alert: Twice in these two sentences the report says that public records show that Obama Sr. lived on 11th Avenue. Why twice? Because the reporter is confused about it. It doesn’t fit the narrative. When confused about a statement of facts that doesn’t seem to fit prior assumptions it is a natural human tendency to repeat the frame-breaking fact.
For example, after a rough morning at work one coworker might say “Gee, it’s two pm already!”, and a natural response is “Two o’clock, already?!” Repetition of the fact that doesn’t fit the assumption. Something that breaks a mental framing of reality is remarkable, we mentally note it verbally repeating the frame breaking fact.

Strange Idiom Alert: “It’s feasible” is not an unknown idiom, but it is not common. Note that in the very next sentence the more common idiom “its possible” [sic] is used. The common grammar error “its” for “it is’ is another clue of strangeness.

It seems to me that the reporter or editor deliberately tried to avoid the use of “it’s possible” because that would infer that it is also possible that Obama’s mom did NOT live at that address reported in the birth record. ‘Feasible’ doesn’t queue up the same reaction in most readers, because the usage is rare.

Example 3: This:

By 1963 the Dunhams had moved into Apartment 110 of a six-year-old building at 1427 Alexander Street, records show. A year before, Obama Sr. had separated from his wife and child to attend Harvard University. In 1963, when she was a UH sophomore, Stanley Ann Obama’s address was listed in a university directory as 2277 Kamehameha Ave. She filed for divorce in 1964. It can be assumed that she and young Barack also spent time with the Dunhams at the two-bedroom apartment on Alexander, which is also still there.
Time Jump Alert: We start this paragraph somewhere in 1963 on Alexander Street only to then fly back a vague sometime ‘year earlier’ to learn that dad ran off then.
Foggy Time Line Alert: The paragraph is very confusing, but it is obvious the reporter is going for a determinative time line, yet can’t quite make it. As a possible signal of utter frustration the last paragraph ends “It can be assumed ...”

There is no evidence that the Dunhams knew Frank Marshall Davis before moving to Hawaii or even shortly thereafter. From all I have read I believe a friendship developed while Ann and Jr were in Indonesia and Stanley was left to his own devices after taking care of Jr between 1963 and 1967.

Have you read the story?

Which story?

The reported multiple sales (1992 & 1995) of 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy, on the assessor's website may in fact be refinancing transactions, where a note was paid off. Perhaps to pay for remodeling. Assessors often do not go into detail about transactions. The documents and the pertinent details are filed and noted for the record, where they can be found.

I don't know much about Zillow, but the assessor's data is likely to be accurate as to the time of input. A remodel may have produced another bedroom, or the homeowner or Realtor may be declaring a study or other suitable room as a bedroom now. Plus, the assessor didn't list the original sale, or any subsequent sale until 1992. That is probably about the time that they went digital, or has something to do with the demarcation line as to when the cutoff for entering data digitally began, or... someone is intentionally omitting the data. There would have been handwritten cards, then possibly micro fiche for record keeping, until the digital age came along. One could check other addresses in the area, to see if there is a consistency to the data being entered or lack there of, time wise.

There was another address revealed in the Maui TV News article: 1427 Alexander St., Apt # 110. Apparently, the Dunhams moved into the apartment after leaving the luxury digs. Did you catch that address in the read? Here's what I've got as far as the addresses go: 1- 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy (Dunhams/Obamas with cottage house in rear) 1a- 625 11th Ave., St. Louis Heights Sec. (BHO Sr's home) 2- 1427 Alexander St., Apt. # 110 (Dunham's) 3- 2277 Kamehameha Ave. (Dunham's large home) 4- 2234 University Ave. (Dunham's modest home) 5- 1617 Beretania St. Apts. (Madelyn Dunham's home for 40 years) Please comment...

It was in That One’s so-called memoir, his supposed memory of meeting President Bush in 2005.

I read that a journalist recited this passage from AOH to Bush and Bush was taken aback by That One’s account of the meeting.

Jr was with Ann when she was in WA state. From the testimony of her friend Susan Blake, Ann spent the day with Susan and Susan changed Jr’s diapers as Ann didn’t know how!(August 1961)Maxine Box, Ann’s best friend from high school spent an afternoon with Ann in September,1961. Maxine attended University of Washington and yet didn’t know that Ann attended classes there at the same time! When Ann lived on Mercer Island she didn’t babysit or date. Further testimony has friends from high school visiting her and Jr at an apartment she rented on Capital Hill. One friend remembers visiting Ann in fall 1962 and her daughter played with Jr while the mothers visited.

Oh, I understand about the Hawaiian CoBs during that time.

I was thinking more along the lines that if the long form also showed that he was born in Hawaii, then couldn’t the Kenyan Drs be used as proof that he was actually born in Kenya?

I just don’t see the Kenyan Drs being in Hawaii for his birth unless they were family members.

Or will the long CoB have his true location instead of the State of convenience?

LOL You provided such an excellent analysis of the article that I have remembered it and did a c & p of it farther down this thread. I did only a slight amount of nitpicking like one line instead of two and saying the article appeared in the August 17,1961 issue, when we can clearly see the date of August 13,1961. I commend you on your work! Once I read it I went off to search for Jr’s quote regarding the walking tours during his father’s visit in 1971 as you had done such excellent work!

Yet no one, that would be NO ONE went to the hospital to see Jr when he was born or sent flowers or remembers anything at all about him being born in Hawaii. The only memory we seem to have is from his grandmother in Kenya who witnessed the birth.

Cough it up Obama.

At th link you provide it is said:

Why Does Father’s Race Say African?
1. The U.S. has a Standard Birth Certificate form that they encourage states to use.
2. FWIW, I think constitutionally Feds probably can’t MAKE states use this,
As I said classifications in Hawaii did NOT conform with those of any other state because of the Asian, Japanese, Polynesian and native Hawaiian mixes. The father’s country could be used for classification if he was a race other than white!

Thank you for the link. The attempt at journalism (using the term journalism in an extremely loose manner) was difficult to plow through. Thanks to the Chief for the tie in to your analysis. The Chief’s rendering was also difficult to read (due to formatting issues) but Chief meant well, and it was greatly appreciated. No harm, no foul. ;o)

I can only read and comprehend so many of these BHO-BC threads and subset posts, before my mind begins hurting.

Merriam-Webster’s Online Dictionary: “Operative” (noun): “a person who works toward achieving the objectives of a larger interest “

Oh, I never use online dictionaries — and if I did, I certainly would never put my faith in something as corrupt as a recent Merriam-Webster’s. Buy yourself a good used copy of the famous “MW-2nd”. When I’m feeling especially informal, I might let my high standards slide a bit and refer to the American Heritage (especially the first edition — all future editions are corrupt in various ways).

MW-2nd: operative, noun - an agent, or detective.

AHD-1st: a secret or trusted agent, a private detective

In other words, you believe that Berg is not who he says he is, i.e., a committed Democrat who supported HRC and who, no doubt, was not only disappointed by her loss to hussein, but disgusted by his “throwing her under the proverbial bus”; and who now wishes to protect the constitution by demanding that hussein prove his constitutional eligibility by spending $10, making a 25-cent phone call, and showing us his birth certificate.

No, in your view, his disgruntlement has caused him to seek out a personal audience with HRC, declare his unfailing devotion to her and the Clinton Political Machine, and she, in turn, has hired him as her “trusted agent” or “secret agent” or “private detective” — that is to say, “operative”, acting on her personal behalf (not on behalf of the constitution — how silly that anyone would do such a thing!).

Good.

Here’s what I’m wondering:

Are you the kind of tinfoil hat wearer who wears it with the shiny side out, or with the dull side out? Do tell. I understand that there’s a major rift occurring at this moment between those two groups.

I noticed the addresses, and as I mentioned the paper has printed a sloppy article. None of Sr’s friends has ever mentioned Ann and they were often at Sr’s home. When he originally came to Hawaii he lived at the Atherton Y.M.C.A. which is across from the University before moving to the 625 11th Ave. address, perhaps because alcohol was not permitted at the Y.M.C.A. His friends testifed that he loved to party and was never one to turn down a drink.
I wonder if the address at the apartment on Alexander was initially rented for Ann and Jr upon their return to HI from WA state before her parents realized it was silly to rent an apartment for her when they could live more cheaply in a home together with her.(This is when Jr claims she was on food stamps) By the time she registered at U of H for the spring semester of 1963 her address was the house on Kamehameaha then it was listed as the house on University Ave. Jr wouldn’t remember the house on Kamehameha because he was a toddler, but he does mention that he was shown the first home the Dunhams lived in when they arrived in Hawaii and says it was the one before the one on University Avenue which is the house on Kamehameha. Hawaii Freepers have already testified that the house on the highway was too expensive even for a working couple let alone for two struggling students. Also note that the paper never mentions that Ann wasn’t living in HI from August 1961 until 1963 but was instead in the state of WA!
