Constitutional crisis looming over Obama's birth location

The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.

The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.

WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.

The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

I think any public questioning will cause massive rioting in the cities. Maybe this is what is wanted so that there will be an excuse for an all out hostile revolution.

That is pure Barbra Streisand. In fact, the Constitution provides no mechanism for certifying the candidates, but political parties are private organizations that can present Mickey Mouse as a candidate, and it's their right.

I got your sarcasm and feel your frustration. The other side can threaten tantrums and riots if their guy doesn't get elected. Well, what happens when the U.S. Constitution is trampled? When will enough be enough, or will it just be too late? Are there any good men left?

Is there any honor left in journalism? They don't even respect the 1st Amendment that they claim to basically worship. This is the saddest moment in American history since the Civil War.

The riots in the street might be mild compared to his presidency. If he had nothing to hide, why would he go to such great lengths to avoid his personal info from becoming public record. This election stinks and I am sick about it.

For what it’s worth, Ed Hale says he has a copy of the African BC. naming Coast Provincial General Hospital, Mombasa Kenya as the place of BO’s birth....And that he told the person who gave it to him, he would not go public until a legal channels had been exhausted.

Is it possible that the MSM and others are just waiting until a definitive decision is made before going public. Hopeing that would decrease the likelyhood of major rioting. (fat chance-—O will just email our youth and say....NOW Riot NOW!)
